  • I love how she starts by saying that everyone will be more impressed if she (whoopie) shuffles the cards, and as a matter of fact she's right. I'm a magician and I can let a spectator "shuffle " a deck of cards to thier hearts content. Of course it doesn't matter I'll still "find" thier card, but it's still just a trick, and letting the audience shuffle is just for show. Of course shuffling really has nothing to do with tarot cards because you just make it up as you go anyway.

  • if any tarot card reader can't see that tarot cards are very similar to playing cards then they shouldn't even be learning tarot because they aren't of an intuitive nature.

  • "the lunatic Anastasi presented far too many false statements and showed absolutely NO evidence" Just like Jesus & the Buy-Bull!

  • DAMN gypsies!!

  • Europeans have always been known for their lies. bring this tarrot card where spirituality is ancient, and get pwned.

  • If you arent willing to do your own video on how to read them, then take the ones you own and shove them up your ass!

  • like the cards its just paper an hand movements

  • lets buy a Ouija board an play a game lolololol

  • Your arguments are rediculously weak.

  • That was actually pretty good. I would have liked to see the whole reading.

  • @peekaboots01

Could I ask what part of this reading impressed you?

  • oh my god anyone who believes this in 2011 is A COMPLETE TOOL!

  • Actually you are dead wrong...they are card games used for divination...and they do work as I read tarot and they are Very accurate. I use them on myself and they do predict what is coming into play. I think its just ignorance on your part since you do not know anything about it. How do you know its false information if you havent studied it until you have studied it and know what the heck your talking about then you can talk.

  • Tarot cards seem to be almost nonsensical by definition- as Derren Brown points out in his interview with Dawkins. For the reading to be good, the same cards would have to arise if you repeated it 3 or 4 times. If they didn't, your reading would have just changed in the space of a few minutes- which would make the original reading altogether pointless. People need to learn something called "scepticism"!

  • tarot----only for tools

  • You are an ass - she was accurate and true

  • I feel this would be more enjoyable to watch without the constant interruptions and comments. This is quite clearly all bullshit, we don't need you stating the obvious.

  • jesus christ, this is fucking ridiculous. There is no such thing as a real psychic. there. saved you more time and money than every "psychic" in the world combined. idiots.

  • @CarlSagan6 congradulations! you have won the award for the only logical comment on this site! Every other comment here has me frightened for the future of man kind.

  • @lvmykids1 Thank you kind sir! I too worry about the future of mankind. Often. Let's just hope that whole "natural selection" thing kicks in soon...

  • ciera you have no idea what you are on about darling, there is a scientific basis for psychic abilities check out the third eye, this is the pineal gland, calcium in the bone of the skull blocks this sense, unless it is trained!!!!!!

  • If you shuffled the card a few second later yould you get the same cards?

  • your moron

  • Sylvia Brownw #1 one bitch.

Nancy grace # two. God I hate these two bitches. And montel is a stupid moron.

  • I have a ouija surf board. I did not know that demons can swim.

  • Whoever put the commentary in this video is extremely bias and uninformed.

  • you do not need 'psychic' ability to read tarot, although it does help.

  • have two tarot readers 'read' the same cards and see if they say the same thing. I've seen this done with feng shue (sp?) and the "experts" always contradict each other.

  • @R5d4d2 Generally speaking the cards have certain meanings, but some readers will lean towards certain aspects of the cards. For instance the 7 of cups that was place could mean a person has choices but can also mean inability to decide, depending on other cards drawn and the intuition of the reader.

  • @R5d4d2 Let me also add, if I saw the 7 of cup paired with 'the lovers' I would read it as a harder choice possibly involving relationships, but paired with the 'Ace of Pentacles' I would say there is a likely chance of an obvious or multiple good choices to make. It also depends on what the querent has asked in the read.

  • You obviously have never used a tarot card a day in your life...She interpreted correctly. She's given me an accurate reading before as well. Stop trying to make her look bad. You are the liar!

  • @ladyceleste001 First of all, I HAVE used Tarot cards, for card games!

Second, I never said that her interpretation was correct or incorrect -- I really don't care how the readers interpret their cards.

The main points are, that she presents a false history of the Tarot that has been debunked many times, and that accuracy of a reading is subjectively measured.

So what 'lies' do you think I have presented here?

  • @Chirno9Icefall Well, your video makes it look like she is a charlatan or something. Instead of ridiculing her, you could have made a response video stating the history of tarot, not making her look bad. It's The View for crying out loud, there is not enough time to explain everything in a crunched time frame.

People have different views on where tarot originated. The fact of the matter is, where they are from is inconsequential, as long as you can read them. That's all.

  • @ladyceleste001 « It's The View for crying out loud, there is not enough time to explain everything in a crunched time frame. »

Right. But in that short time frame, what she presented was full of lies! Before going on the show she could have done proper research about the history of Tarot -- instead, she just repeated the false history of the Tarot that too many occultists promote. Such behavior in my opinion deserves to be ridiculed!

  • @Chirno9Icefall Psychics are professional liars, why are you surprised? There hasn't been a SINGLE scrap of proof of anything supernatural existing in all of human history; in this day and age with everyone carrying an HD video recorder and camera in their back pocket, there's NO way anything REAL can fly under the radar like supernatural elements; but yeah, psychics are compulsive liars who profiteer on the mentally handicapped.

  • @ladyceleste001 « People have different views on where tarot originated. The fact of the matter is, where they are from is inconsequential, as long as you can read them. »

Some views are based on false information. They deserve to be criticized and corrected. And besides another important point is that the Tarot is still today used for card games in several European countries, yet almost all of English-language population is unaware of that thanks to biased mainstream media.

  • @Chirno9Icefall u and ur fucking scientist i wish i could meet u u deserve only horrible death.

  • @ladyceleste001 Whilst the debunker in this video did it in a very lame way, text on a screen instead of speaking (minimum), you are even more of a fucking moron. If ANY psychic was real they would contact the Randi Education Foundation and collect the $1,000,000 cheque that has sat unclaimed for 30 years. You can claim oh they're not in it for the money and all kinds of bullshit to that; but they don't do it free, do they? So, go get an education, you fucking freak.

  • @xBaSHxPR0MPTx You seemed peeved. Psychically speaking, you are the moron and my statement made over a year ago made you write a letter to yourself. That's what I see.

  • @ladyceleste001 Stupid fool believes in tarot card readings. You're an extreme idiot!

  • Video full of win

  • @tarot4games EPIC WIN, right?

  • @Chirno9Icefall yesssssssss! EPIC WIN

  • very intelligent you are cirno-chan XD

  • @TouhouGaijin Intelligent I am .. now I wonder how many will call me an idiot from this video!

  • That was awesome! Bravisimo

  • @Oudler I figured that you would agree! =(^.^)=

  • WOW. Where does that lady get her facts from? A random homeless guy?

  • @Kappatekki I really don't know, but it seems like the typical New Age 'Woo woo' nonsense propagated through mainstream media. Now is the time to stop this media bias!

  • @Chirno9Icefall They should get some facts before they just go and make up stuff.

  • @Kappatekki Of course! That is one problem that unfortunately, occurs far too often with many mainstream media.
