I don't LARP, but if I did I'd want to get into a Western type of LARP. We Americans do have a history, but it's a lot different than you Europeans. People will always associate a middle-ages-type of setting with knights and shit with Europeans, but with American history, people associate us with cowboys and indians. American LARP'ing should embrace that IMO.
