  • I bet a lot of homeless people were offended by this. Oh, wait, they can't watch it -.-

  • WHO WOULD THROW AWAY A C64?!?!!!!!

  • Wow. Molly mentioned my favourite piece of old tech. I'm touched.

  • She's not hot.

  • She can sit on my face

  • SCRAP ALL OF THAT>

  • will you marry me ?

  • We are in an age where technology has advanced so yes theres a reason we throw out old technology...there i said what i had to say...good day...

    [Minutes Later]

*goes on eBay bidding on an Atari 2600*

  • Would tap her keys

  • That Commodore64 still works, i'll bet on it.

That thing will survive me 10 times :P

  • whatt a nintendo64??

  • YOU'RE NOT TAKING MY ATARI!!! I had a helly good time with it

  • good tits

  • TRASHED C64 FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • A commadore 64 that is -not worth- selling on craigs list or ebay?

... IT MUST BE BROKEN ...

  • I think ... about ECO !

  • No C64 owner has ever been documented throwing away a commodore!

  • My god... Molly is really beautiful! My definition of the word "woman"... :)

  • When we export people to America, and they start using the American names for things, it just sounds wrong.

  • Coffea?

  • Your so sweat :)

    thx

    gadboa

    (yep got the msg)

  • Whoever throws away a C64 hasn't been on ebay!

  • Thats my old computer back in `90, miss you c64 :(

  • Some people hang onto older technology, I knew someone who loved Word Star and 8088 computers; in fact, if you keep your Internet scripts correct and your Internet Service Provider follows Internet standards, then you should have no problem connecting with an i486 computer, even though the display will be non-graphic. Best of luck.

  • @WOWJBEOWULF Did you know you can put an ATX motherboard in an 8088 case?

  • @rlwieneke I have built my own computer, and what I found is each generation of motherboards do something different to hang them in the cases; it is best to buy a new case with your new motherboard and new CPU. Don't mess around with the CPU, uses a anti-static wrist band, and gently (never force it) into its slot, same for the memory chips--if you have to force it, then something is wrong; some pressure is fine, but it should just pop right in.

  • I live in NYC so TY NYC GOV'T for hiring Molly!

  • I'm considering making a custom build HTPC in a 386 chassis just for the retro geek factor.

If i could find a c64 laying around, i would even buy low-power parts and make a custom Linux rig out of it.

She's right about the recycling thing, either by scavenging parts for new projects or recycling it so the materials can be used again (they don't typically degrade even if the system stops working).

@antondonets any girl would get hotter if they could do something like this on their own.

  • I recycle everything! And then I mean EVERYTHING!! MU HU HA HA HA!!! >:)

  • i love old stuff xD

  • @arrisfilms So do I!!! I'm a computer geek and love playing with archaic tech stuff!!!!

  • Be careful Molly, you are going to turn that C64 a meme in of itself.

  • Awareness is not the only thing Molly raises.

  • @maksphoto78 I WANT TO KILL YOU

  • The way she hugged that Commodore 64...I would marry her right now and give her full power of attorney.

  • I think I love You!!!

  • This is heart breaking =(

  • Old technology is the best!

  • I love the british now.Sex with her FTW!!!!!

  • A hot british girl and a C64? I know what I'll be dreaming about tonight.

I've brought home a ton of stuff from bulk trash day, including this keyboard and my speakers, but I've never been lucky enough to find a C64. I've found Windows systems though. I guess people around here know the junk from the good stuff. :)

  • @lurkerrekrul "I've found Windows systems though. I guess people around here know the junk from the good stuff."

    can i have your man-babies?

  • nice legs

  • I have that comm64... It's in my storage closet.

  • are all british woman that hot and cute?

  • I wish if they were I'd move their right now

  • @youtubalisation Nope, sadly posh totty like Molly is a rarity.

  • who give a shit about old tek, I think poor people are more important.

  • Great PSA!!!

  • I think old technology is great!

  • 0:32 Shepard Fairey

  • I have that exact same grey blazer! ^^

  • for some reason this made me sad

  • Poor C64 :(

  • Lolz

  • i wished she had licked the Commodore at 0:55.

  • I was wacking it when she was stroking the C 64

  • i was stroking mine gently with a pair of TAC-2's.

    i hope she saved it.

  • recycling is not as clean as they say in most cases they ship the e-waste to 3rd world contries where people use crude methods to extract the little vaulable parts and discard the rest often leaving a massive toxic dump on the land and leaving the residents to deal with the harmful side effects of the pollution

  • OSM!

  • Epic face at :55...

  • the hell to the machines and what they feel !! :)

  • yes recycle them... by sending them to 3rd world countries where children sift threw the junk without proper protection for pennies a day.

and then buy new shit that does not work worth a crap. you people will do what ever you are told, because you are allowed to. isn't freedom great.

  • great picture - what camera did you use to film this?

  • The message was somewhat valid, but "O" so moronic....

Is that the best they can come up with???

  • Makes those machines look as if they have got feelings.

  • Whoa... my parents still have that radio at :26 seconds....

Don't know why it's thrown out. I know for a fact that is a really good fm/am radio.

  • whats a comonder

  • Even I know what a Commodore 64 is and it was way out of my generation. >.>

  • still dosent anwser my questoin?

  • It's an old gaming system. Two seconds of google would lead you to that answer.

  • eh, no, it is a computer, not a gaming system.

  • it's kinda out of everyone's generation :p

  • you know its not JUST a keyboard....

  • this is a joke right

  • I just threw away 3 old phones yesterday...

They had seen there day and barely worked...

  • very pretty girl

    awesome looks

    good luck in future

    GOD BLESS YOU

  • I Like old stuff so I actually try to get old technology

  • WHAT!!! a c64 layibg in the street and no onw have grabbed it??

  • @jackobyuk Thats what I thought

  • *sniff* *sniff*. and this is why hardly ever throw away my old tech stuff. I have the NES, and still...i play one it. i have the SNES, and still... i play on it. there for if i want to play a game that is on the Wiiwere, i go and get the real thing. i dont want no port, i dont want to play a game with the wrong controller. I WANT THE REAL THING!!!

  • I agree I NEVER throw away old tech, heck I buy it occasionally

  • *wipes away a tear*

  • a C64 just lying there, yes please.

  • LMAO @ the turn @ 0:37

  • 0:28 Holy shit Obey Propaganda clothing is fucken EVERYWHERE!

[Don't you have it when you misspell something important but you've already posted your comment?]

  • Comment removed

  • Back in '96 I got rid of my CBS Colecovision games console from 1982. I wish I hadn't now - it was still in good working order. I got rid of it in a fit of spring cleaning.

  • ill tap that key

  • very funny :P

  • A Com64 is a collectors item, you don't throw that way you could get good money for it!

  • @frbe0101 Exactly

  • Molly's really become quite a babe since she started working at rocketboom!

  • I really feel for the old technology. I'm glad there is someone else to help spread the word and stop old technology abuse. Why would someone just toss out an old Commador 64 keyboard. Its heartless. Thank you for coming to the rescue of old technology.

  • hell ill take that commodore 64!

  • PPl should juz keep it. who knows. they might worth something in the future. * i.e. my 1997 corvette. Gift from my father. .

  • Corvette =/= keyboard

  • Why not send them here in the Philippines? Oh, wait...that would be a bad move. People will get the impression of the US using another country as their dumpsite.

  • Emotional

  • THE LORD says that old technology has a chance to turn in new technology if she gets more beautiful...

  • Crap!!! That was MY C64, My Push-button Phone (very high tech in its day) My Portable AM/FM/ Weather band, and MY clock radio. I threw that stuff away 25 years ago in Texas. Must've been floating all that time up and down the east coast on a garbage barge out of NYC. Amazing!

  • That is amazing. :-) Why did you throw out a new C64 back then?

  • To make way for a new Windows 3.1 PC (or whatever version it was. That's what they were using at work. And the C64 was more than a year old. It was no longer useful for my needs. Might have put it in a garage sale, I just don't remember.

  • I have to nitpick, this is the Internet after all, ,but Windows 1.0 was released later than 1984. 1985 actually.

(Now it's time for you you to say that I don't get a joke.)

  • you should be shot for throwing away that C64.

  • Hooray for recycling!

  • Molly, I havent even watched the video yet, but i paused at the instant it started because I just want to let you know that you are beautiful.

    thanks.

  • This message has been brought to you by an obsessed fan.

    CBS Cares

  • I'm an advocate for old tech as well.

I have a Mega Drive, a BBC Micro, even the original Game Boy.

  • stupid humour

  • Poor, poor C-64

  • Love this peice of video? Who was doing the camera work and what camera was used? This video seems to be in VERY hi-definition!

  • semi lol

  • i'm still wondering if the dramatic tone was ironic... or wasn't

  • whast happend to the real rocket boom?

  • My fax-machine needs a home, so if you know anyone....

  • q.q.................I love you Atari! SNES, i'll play with you every day! Dreamcast, i havnt forgetten you, we'll play DoA2 tonight! q.q

  • oh man this makes me sad, it reminds me of my nearly forgotten N64 in the attic :(

  • dude i STILL play that game.

    mario party for the win!

  • is this a tear on my face ... omg

  • quite possibly the best vid they've made so far

  • This video really touched my heart...

  • ..Molly?? She looks.. different! D:

  • MORE NO UR MEME PLEASE I HATE THIS SHIT

  • Molly is cute, shut the fuck up.

  • The more we throw away, the more we extinguish our race. Blame the government!! I say we form a separatist movement from the U.S. government!! FOR THE CONFEDERACY!!!

P.S. Just a little joke, but still, I hate this dictatoral government. And don't forget to recycle!

  • i ha e an old polaroid camera and an old radio on my shelf!

    its so nostalgic!!

  • oh, the poor Comodore 64, it breaks my heart. how can people be so cruel?!

  • she has a lisp

  • Is this suppose to be ironic?

    Despite the attempt on "funny"...

Because it takes more energy and work to decompose than to make new stuff. And pollution factor is important as well. the process can be profitable for companies so they want people to believe recycling makes sense...

  • This writing is horrible...but Molly is so pretty, I can't stop watching. You win again Rocketboom.

  • is it weird to pick up USEFUL NOT USELESS computer parts from the trash?

    AND I REPEAT USEFUL

  • there is gold in the chips, isn't it

  • Marvelous, Molly Marvelous! ;-P

  • anyone want to donate some ram? i hear people use upwards of 6 gigs these days while i sit at the edge of being obsolete with 512

    but really nice PSA Molly

  • LMAO Classic

    Old well, great job anyways!

  • They just gave me a Commodore 64 at the office. "it's an upgrade", they said.

  • she is like the prettiest girl ive ever seen.

  • pause exactly at 0:09 then say that again

  • Yeah, because no one ever looks bad if you pause them in the middle of speaking. Ever. This girl is the first in history. -_-

  • lols all you needed after that was a shooting star with the nbc theme

    "the more you know"

    :P

  • aww.....poor commodore 64.....

  • I wish you'd stop wearing makeup. You, and no on else, needs it, and you all are in fact uglified by it.

  • Who would throw out a Commodore 64?!

    LOL, great video.

  • Oh god, now I can't stop thinking of the Brave Little Toaster!
