this has been edited insane amounts! You can tell because:

A) the microphone he's using has about a million filters in it which changes your voice considerably (i know this because I've used it before)

B) because the way he's moving his lips in the recording is different to the way he sounds (if you are a singer you can pick up on these things)

I'd like to hear this guy sing live or possibly without a good quality mic and editing software to add effects....

@DamienHurts so what? using a good mic to get a good quality recording, and there's only a certain amount you can do to vocals (editing wise) just face it. he has so much more talent than you. he has a beautiful voice, and most artists nowadays edit recordings to enhance what is already there. peace.

@tazzchowhury He's also trying to sound good. It's typical for singers on youtube. They think they have to ad-lib every other word they sing. It sounds disjointed and over-done.

And how insightful of you to jump to the conclusion that he has a better voice than me. I never even said I could sing... And my talent has nothing to do with these comments. Man, people on youtube are becoming increasingly stupid as the years go by... peace?

@DamienHurts Hey Damien! Thanks for taking the time to comment. The microphone I use hasnt actually got the filters on it, its the programme I use. Garageband. So, I put *Live Vocals* effect on it, which gives it the reverb, and then *Vocal Enhancer - Female Radio Spoke* <-- this gives the recording a clearer sound, as if it were a radio broadcast. But thats IT as far as effects. This video is a clip, so yes, its not singing live. But I have loads of live vids on this channel :) take a look!

I think the main thing is that you ad lib a lot in this video (dragging out the notes, if you don't know what that means) and I don't think you need to add that as much as you do. Bruno Mars hardly does it in the original and I think if you sung it a bit more like him, it would sound heaps better.

And it's nice of you to write back in a decent way. Didn't want to come across as hateful, just my opinion.
