They only hurt for about a couple days 4 max. And it takes about a week or so to get use to them. You will get cuts and sore lips btw untill your lips are use to having metal and wire on them haha

Yah when I got them on it hurt 2 eat anything but after a week I got used 2 them. And I get my braces off on next month on thee 28th!Wish me luck! :)

maddiilovesyou13 thats exactly what happend to me but i only got mine three days ago and they still hurt i want to get them off already there so annoyin! i cant wait to take them off so badly how long does it last untill u can actually eat again cause i cant eat anything except for like soup and mashed potatoes! oh and icecream but i like icrecream! yummy please answer

@Sunshine4Peace Well, try biting down on a brownie today. If you can, then you can eat. It may feel weird, but since you havent really eaten in a few days (i know...) then you can practice. (i had a brownie, and 2 slices of pizza, and then I had 1/2 a bagel. it was like brunch but I hadnt really eaten in 3 days!) Reply back and tell me if that helped. :) good luck.
