this would be a perfect meat loaf song. i got goose bumps just listening to it, imagine how much more awesome it would be if meat loaf sung it! with a full orchestra and everything
Good ol' Kasim wtitin' some good stuff huh?? My closest guess for the singer would be Rory Dodd, but if his voice sounds that young at this point somebody needs to find out his secrets to youth
this song is written by Kasim Sulton (bandleader for the NLE for several years), it's been released on his album "Quid pro quo". I don't know whose voice this is, but it's neither Kasim, nor Meat.
That is an inappropriate tag. It says above that it was written for Meatloaf but he didn't record it. Same thing happened with "It's all coming back to me now". It was originally written for Meatloaf by Jim Steinman. Postponed to Bat Out of Hell II, then postponed to Bat out of Hell III. Instead Dion was second, not first, to sing it, and made it popular, then Meatloaf finally recorded it. So... It sure is in Meatloaf style. Sounds like it might be the same deal here. But mislabeled!
Excellent song, and actually the "meat loaf" in the header is a marvellous strategy to punish meat for having kept this song untouched. Congrats for that, and HELLO THERE!...to those who haven´t understood that meaning. Try to get Dean Torkington sing this song, I´m sure he would do a great job on that.
Hope he sues you for using his name. Have the BALLS to use YOUR name for YOUR song. Doesn´t matter how good you are, you get NO RESPECT for being DISHONEST about the tag !
Why did he ever turn it turn, its the perfect song for him, everything about it sounds like a meatloaf song :( especially from like 1:30 onwards when it picks up.
I would definately buy this if it came out, meat yout have to do it !!!!!
This definately deserves to be on Meat's next album. Check out "Date With Destiny" by Blue Tears for another fantastic song written for Mr. Loaf than never made it onto one of his albums. You'd swear Jim Steinman had written it.
in ma mind i can see patti singin backin vocals with her tambourine and john behind his big drum set, paul posin with his fantastic guitar and meat singin an rockin his heart out, waitin 4 a date with destiny !!!
Kasim Sulton recorded this song on his cd "Quit pro Quo" in 2001..He once said that Meat turned the song down, because he didnt think it was good enough or something like that...

Das ist niemals Meat Loaf Stimme, ist zwar kein schlechtes Lied, aber auf jeden Fall ein anderer Sänger.
