  • Excellent job on the customization of this bike. I have the Classic version of this bike and I have to know where you got the wheels.

  • @flujn8r Thanks :)

Wheels are from RC Components in the USA

  • I've decided this will be my last summer with a rocket, trading my baby in for a Vn 900.. Hope I don't regret it. .. Nice bike man.

  • @odogfncha Good on ya you will love it mate, bikes good it's comfy and highly "customizable" easy to get parts a good all rounder. Tell me how ya go after your test ride :)

  • did u have to remap the fuel or no??

  • @XxKingoveKingsxX Only if u change the air filter AND pipes not if u only change 1.

  • @Trendywunn O ok I see but what if you put those cobra pipes and just replace the stock air filter with a stock replacement k&n air filter do it need to be remaped then?? Or is that only if you go with something like a hypercharger that actually sucks much more air??

  • @XxKingoveKingsxX yes if u put on pipes and change the filter you will need a re-map, I put on a power comander III to help the mapping. The K & N will make a big difference you should hear it sucking more too.

  • What kind of rims do you have cause those are not stock?

  • Oh man! Why did you ruin the bike by putting on that stupid looking skull over the headlight? Nice motorcycle ruined by one stupid looking skull!

  • @Tophairybutt Yea I did it because it's different, some like it some don't no one else had it in Australia when I got it :)

  • nice i have those pipes on the 2010 special edition, and they are Awesome!

  • What size rear tyre is that. AND WHERE CAN I GET WHEELS LIKE YOURS???

  • @philmydang Google RC components in the USA

  • You have done a very nice job on your vn900. i have a 2008 vn900 classic, one day ill get round to posting it on YouTube but I keep getting side tracked. But if I ever do ill send you the vid.

At the moment im trying to decide on new rims from RC Components and getting prices. I like the savages so I might end up with them.

Any way hope the bikes going well and i might (but theres not a good chance) see you on the road.

  • do u still ride that bike and how are the pipes performing since installed any problems??

  • Looks awesome man! I just bought the custom as well. Glad you posted this...My next purchase is definitely going to be some pipes like that. BADASS!

  • I have the same pipes but in chrome. Here in NJ USA they passed a law where there is no more inspections on motorcycles. Only have to pass the emissions once every 4 years. No more little stickers for proof of the registration or inspection on the license plate. Wow!! Where did you get the awesome looking skull headlight? Great looking bike sounds great as it gets everyones attention especially when the're on the cell phone not paying attention. I also installed a 140db stebel airhorn.

  • @dogfoodthirtyone yeah the horn rocks don't it scares shit out of cars when they try and run me off the road :)

Wish we had the same rules in Australia your so lucky over there now with an inspection only every 4 years! The Skull Headlight come from skullmanonline. com if you google it you should find him, he has a pic of the front of my bike on his site. It def turns heads well worth the $.

    Take care dude.

  • Sick Ass Wheels!!! where did you get those???

  • @atineo1982 RC Components in the states :)

  • Oh man, I love your bike... and those exhaust pipes ^^

I am about to pass my driving license in a few months and will buy a Kawasaki VN900 custom as well.

I wish I could install those Cobra Swept (or the Vance & Hines) but I live in France and I'm afraid if I install those, I will get arrested by the cops, especially since law here limit the exhaust sound to something like 60db, which is ridiculous...

If I get caught, I'll have a fine + obligation to reinstall all original parts... But still...

  • @orakaa They come with baffles so if you dont go hard on the thottle it's pretty sedate u should be ok with the cops :)

  • still got the stock wheel on the front? I broke mine! lol or where did you buy the wheels?

  • @bowtied89 lol just sold me front 2 days ago.... got the rims inc all the pulleys etc from RC Components in the USA.

  • checked out your exhaust on here...just wondering if you de-baffled these and how you like the sound...i love my pipes but dont want to mess with a good thing if it sounds crappy without the baffles...thanks!

  • Hi, I noticed you have custom wheels rather than the stock alloys that come with the custom, what wheels are they and where did you get them from ? Thanks. BTW: The cobras sound awesome, I am getting a 2010 VN900 Classic.

  • Got these same pipes on my S/E without the baffles and it is LOUD AND ROWDY!! Definitely a big head turner, didn't realize that a 900 could make so much noise. Nice rumble at idle but loud as hell when revved.

  • SICK BIKE!!!

where did you get those smoked turn signals?

  • @lqelementrider Clear Alternatives mate got'em online :) makes a big difference don''t they!

  • Thanks Rfjdias, they are sexy pipes arent they :)

Mate I put in a PCIII and had it dyno'd I ended up with around 54hpso a small improvement on stock, so I'm not sure what the setting are as the shop did it.

  • Awesome job on the bike, mate. Just installed them on my 900 too. Do you use a fuel management module (PC or Fi2000)? What settings did you use?

  • Thanks much for the info - I've got them on order !

  • Great looking bike ! I Bought a new 2008 Vulcan 900 Custom (regular) and have been considering installing these pipes. How loud are they ? I'm going for the sound not the volume. Love the headlight !!

  • @glennofsb they are not that loud so if you want to you can take the baffles out to make them louder. They have a way sharper note than stock and sound really good on acceleration, I got them mostly for looks. Thinking that they will be pretty loud with the baffles out, been thinking of trying it actually will see what happens if I get off my fat ass and pull them out.

  • Hy Trendy I'm on my folks computer with no sound so will have to listen later. The cobras look great. I'll have to get a set when I'm back in oz.

  • @MrDenhugh Yeah mate they are cool, had a dude take a pic at the lights next to me today they def turn heads. Getting a sexy model to have a photo shoot with it on Sat too should get some nice shots :)

  • What i great job you did with the bike. I had just bought this bike about 2 weeks ago with 3 miles on it. I'm looking forwerd to having fun with it. Great job.

  • @stevosworld1 Thanks Stevo :)
