I thought it was great! I am a film student ,as well. My only critique is your green font narrative made it difficult to read, dropping a dark shadow or halo behind would have punched out the fonts making it more readable. Other than that, super Job!!!!!
I think you guys did a super job! My 15 year old is learning about Imperialism now...Green txt is hard to see and isn't up long enough to read and comprehend...do you know a way to slow down video on You Tube? I don't...that could help us view it better. For all you buttheads criticizing their work....take what you can and leave the rest....They did a fantastic job on their project...let's see you do one!

@pledoux I'm really sorry about that. It's slightly easier to read in full screen so hopefully that will help. I tried maaaaany different colors and I didn't want to switch colors just because of the pictures in the background because I didn't want it to feel too cheap and this worked best. It was really just the font that's hard to read. I should've picked a different font and for that I apologize.

Sorry, but you got something wrong: the island of Madeira doesnt belong to (and never was part of) the african continent. It´s part ofthe macaronesian atlantic region. The island was unhabited upon its discovery and it was populated by portuguese settlers. So it was never formally a "colony" .
