To matthewjsquirrel, this is one of the most amazing songs I have ever heard. Brilliant musicality and the lyrics are great. Both my grandfathers served in the Army and Air Force. My uncle served in the Marine Corps for 22 years. An older gentleman I work with, served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam. Another gentleman I work with served in Desert Storm. And these last three are tougher then nails and meaner then hell when they need to be.

@matthewjsquirrel Possibly one of the worst songs I have ever heard. The structure is cliche and unoriginal. The lyrics are beyond cheesy; I could have written them in the 6th grade. The shift in key pushes the song beyond terrible.

Wow, no words to describe how this moved me. My husband SFC AG Weaver III is currently serving in Qualat Afganistan. My father SFC TE Walker died due to malaria from "The Korean Conflict". God Bless each member of our armed forces. I salute each one of them and tieir families.

So....it's been fun reading these comments, as I actually am the composer of this song by 4Troops. I wrote the song as a tribute to my grandfather who served in WWII, and to the thousands of soldiers and families who give so much of themselves every day so that we can live our lives to the fullest. Soldmysoul...I respect your opinion, but would respect it more so if you could get through one sentence without cussing like a 10-year old. I suggest you grow a vocabulary, my friend. Peace. :)

@matthewjsquirrel Possibly one of the worst songs I have ever heard. The structure is cliche and unoriginal. The lyrics are beyond cheesy; I could have written them in the 6th grade. The shift in key pushes the song beyond terrible.
