Wonderful version of that song! And a theme with which I can identify. Rather an implausible film for those of us who have lived in the world where this sort of thing happens. And hard to imagine that such a scrawny and small man could get paid for that. But it was a different era, and if women really were the ones who rented by the hour, I'm sure they'd pay for 'romantic' looking guys like that. Wonderful video, but yours always are.

@genia106 Yes, I've seen it. But it's hard to spot. The kind of guy who'd be in Bijan would be a 'Protege', rather than a 'Call Boy' (Bijan was open by the time of the film, BTW, although I don't remember, being 6 then, what the shop was like). He'd be bigger, more square-jawed, with a serious degree from a serious school, trading to one Mentor, 'access to his body' for an accelerated career path. Hustlers like Julian would have worn the more obvious labels: Armani, Gucci, Versace, Polo.
