yes its good that you educate the public on the mountain lions but i strongly believe that you need to open a hunting season here in the state of California. They are starting to loose fear in man now. they are over populating and bringing down the deer herds in the state. You guys realize this is a problem but don't do anything to take care of it.

You make an excellent point that a still lion is not necessarily a threat. A friend of mine killed a cougar because he was frightened that it didn't run away. Another example of the stupidity of our species.
