I got a 69 CJ5 and Im trying to have fun with it. However it seems you have to Oil these all the time. Finding Oil for these is interresting . Like for the Cv Joints. Looking forward to doing what your doing. Just want to make sure everythings right before I have fun with her!!!

That's a cj3a. The only difference is the cj2a has a split windsheild and this one first so it's a cj3a. Great vid tho!

What kind of motor do you have in this? I have a 46 that is mostly original. We bought it for $300 several years back and someone put an F-head in it and had to cut the hood, but other than that, it's original.

my grandpa has a '47 cj2a too. the frame is broken in 4 places, has no brakes, has no electric start, and is rotted out everywhere. its all rigged with parts from anything he could find and it always starts the first time. those old jeeps will run forever. its a blast to drive too with no brakes or anything. lol

Dude, most of the windshields on these things were changed out back in the day when the originals rusted out. My jeep is 60 years old, and went through God knows how many owners. Who leaves the windshield up anyway?

Just wondering but, are you sure that's a 2A? It's running a 3A windshield.

People have the same confusion with mine as I swapped out my CJ-2A windshield for a CJ-3A to give me more head room.

When driving I had to hunker down to look out the windshield but with the top off I could sit up strait and look over the top of the windshield frame.

Those little mudders work just dandy.
