Thx for paper tip &keeping vids up. The 2 teapot bases I had failed when 1 fell chipping beyond repair, 2nd punched out from being too dry. My cappa cup took forever to reshape but then I punched through the bottom while turning so I'll try again but use newspaper this time to hold shape for cappas and teapots.I'm hoping this teapot will be bigger & prettier. My last two were smaller & not so pretty in my opinion. Practice, practice Practice - my 2008 Mantra courtesy of Simon Leach :)
Thank you for making these videos! They are very informative and helpful. The tip about using the newspaper was fantastic and yet so simple! THANK YOU!
Well thankyou ! Try a straight sided teapot first as its easier to do than a round one....should put it together later today & I will explain afew things ..regards SL
Looks pretty simple thus far. I'll have to wait till the 2nd part before I see whether or not I'll attempt a tea pot yet. Great videos. The best pottery ones on YouTube I feel.
Thankyou....the rest of the teapot I shall make tomorrow and post the clip so you can see how I do it.The newspaper trick is a useful one ! regards SL
Another Great Vid. I thought us newbies were the only ones that needed the newspaper bit.. Although I have to admit, I've become fond of the blowtourch to stablize. Happy Potting.. Ps. Please show us your spout and lid making..
