  • This song was played at my Fathers funeral he was a solder killed in action in Iraq

  • Guys just chill out man! One person says something that only a cock would say and you all kick off. Jesus Christ!

  • R.I.P To all the soldiers that gave their lifes that day.

  • When the final taps is sounded and we lay aside life's cares,

And we do the last and gloried parade on heaven's shining stairs,

And the angels bid us welcome and the harps begin to play

We can draw a million canteen checks and spend them in a day.

It is then we'll hear St. Peter tell us loudly with a yell,

"Take a front seat, you soldier men, you've done your hitch in Hell."

  • Alright guys every country in the entire world that ever was and is to come has committed war crimes, such as killing civilians and torturing etc! Yes! Even you Americans!

  • This movie was so moving, one of my top favorites; Hans Zimmer my hats' off to you.

  • Is it just me, or does thinking about war and listening to war music make you feel relaxed?

  • All of Zimmer's composed music have such emotion in to it. Even if it's just a few simple beats like in the beginning of this piece.

  • @weirdpeopleonearth Crysis 2 ending music just blew me away.

  • @TheSpiritualGamer i know man, same here. I can't even explain his music in words. Guy's a legend.

  • Hanz zimmer=GOD

  • @TridentChewy GOD= Hans Zimmer

  • This might be just me but I think if you listen carefully to this song, you can trace some elements that sound like they were later in Pirates of the Caribbean.

It seems ironic that some elements of a song titled "Leave No Man Behind" would be used in a film with characters that go by the code "He who falls behind get's left behind".

  • hahahahahaha well from the comments ive been reading looks like its a debate to see if america is cool or notx) i find that extreamly hilarious because everyone has their own opion and well its gonna b a constant battle to see which side wins lol

  • and if anyone fins my comment to be rude or hateful I'm sorry that is not what i was intending

  • soldiers are soldiers

they fight, they die, and they also sometimes get stupid orders

let's have a song that remembers soldiers from every country not just america

  • @darman242 america sure as hell does not have the biggest army they may be well equipt but not biggest army.

  • @DTM666316 Yeah the biggest one would be the chinese cannon fodders.

  • Don't ever insult a soldier? wtf I know plenty that are jerks. Or I know how about the reservists who just wanna play xbox. You probably meant don't ever insult a marine, to that I agree.

  • @twistedbydsign99 No, anybody who puts their life on the line to defend their country, their way of life and their people deserve the respect of everybody on the planet. Whether you like the person or not, they are fighting for YOUR freedom and for YOUR well being, give them the respect they deserve - they've done more to earn it than any businessman ever will.

  • " Rangers lead the way".

    " All the way".

  • This movie was a awsom movie, infact some times when i play BATTLEFIELD 3 i play this cuz it reminds me about the part when they were given the go code IREAN i think..... well any 2Ts for this, any 1 who likes this as well are awsom - HOOOAHHH !!!! :)

  • SEMPER FI!!! NO ONE EVER GETS LEFT BEHIDE!!! OOO-RAH!!!!!!!

  • War isn't "glory". War isn't "hell on earth". War isn't some fantasy you imagine safely in your bed. War is when you're here, the guy shooting at you is there, and you gotta shoot him back. Simple as that. Except it's not just once. It's until you die, they die, or one of you surrenders. It isn't about saving people, you're killing people to save people.

War... is war. It's just what has to be done. The job that's there and needed, but the one no one wants. That's it. That's all there is to it.

  • Just one thing, I dont anderstand why USA allways must have an enemy!

  • @camel1945 America is the most powerful nation to date so far. They have the most money, soldiers, etc. That also directly puts them in the "International Police Force" Job. What affects a country on the other side eventually affects America too. So they go in and stop it.

  • @darman242

America may have the largest army not to mention well equipt, if i miss spelt sorry any way they are not as well trianed as the British troops + all the special forces were trained in the aspects of the 22nd SAS reg. The S.A.S will always be the best but i am not saying the Yanks aint good i a fight belive me I know that they can fight hard.

  • @HUNTER17LOZ True, true. Just as well that we're on the same side, eh?

  • @darman242 Stupid answer it confirms my view! No more comments from me!

  • @darman242 They do not have the most soldiers. They have the most powerful military. Not the biggest. Russia and china have more soldiers and vehicles by far. just not as good as the USA's

  • joannajean has it right!!!

  • whats with all the fighting? JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN TO THE GODDAMN MUSIC U TROLLING LOSERS! and first of all why are u trolls here ranting to us about how the US sucks and only likes to kill civilians when u come to an american-made video of how soldiers tried to help people in somalia. You trollers make no sense.

  • @hwebb1100 you don't help.

  • The real Americans are cool, indigenous black white or indifferent,it's these politicians that feed ya crap that spoil the pic.Ask ya self.

  • will someone please tell me why people hate the united states so much. im a american and i want to hear from people that hate us. i dont understand

  • @Zepher186 I am not an American and I actually Love Americans. But I can answer. They hate America cause they envy you. As simple as that. They want the same power and happiness that you seem to show on your face in every smile of yours. Why do people hate Justin Bieber or Selena Gomez? Same reasons. The nicer and happier you are, the more losers will hate you.

  • @csillinemeth You know not every American is "Happy and Smiles" many now live on the streets and are involved with gangs and gang fights... There is a crysis in American...nearly the whole world is experiencing a crysis right now...

  • @Zepher186 Nobody like Police man USA are playing the police for the world they have allways an enemy! Count the war that USA made after 1945! I dont like this! I dont hate the people but the politics and the power behind all this! Usrael!

  • @Zepher186 It has nothing to due with jealousy... It is because the majority of you fuckers think your the best in the world and that you can do whatever you want. News flash! I've been to America and it is exactly the same as any west European country. The people in America are ass-holes too. I've talked to people from America and they seriously with all their heart though the rest of the world was still primitive. Bunch of obnoxious people man

  • I don't see why everybody is flaming Dougal, he's not "ranting," he's having a civil debate, which is hard to come by on the internet due to all the keyboard warriors.

  • gets me every time. PER ARDUA

  • well i beleive that when they were in this inccedent, they were just trying to stop the genocide that was happing in somalia. and the fact that the us lost many man and countless wounded, they kept going on through their prediciment. that is true courage, especially the favt about randy and gordon. R.I.P, the only people to see the end of war, are the ones who died in it, their sacrifice shall not be forgotton, remember, " leave no man Behind"

  • Dougal=Gay

  • Hey Everyone! IF YOU WANT REALDOUGAL TO LEAVE THEN DON'T ANSWER HIM! Don't argue with him, he's obviously a strong debater, so he's going to come back and reply to you. And if you do argue with him, say something intelligent please.

  • @MEUSOC45ACP he is a troll master debater LOL

  • @MEUSOC45ACP Lol thank you for having sense :D

  • "tired of dougal ranting? flag his posts" thats weak.

  • EVERYONE read my last general comment here, then see if you can honestly and justly say I don't have a good point!

  • You all might disagree with me, call me a troll, call me an ass, a stupid American-hating bastard, but you're all wrong. I believe in the concept of a "just war". You should look up its meanings online if you want to know what exactly that is (if you don't already). You can't hate me for disapproving the use of disproportional weapons (e.g. - napalm), because if you do, it means you agree with using unprecedented force, and killing everyone and anyone, including civilians.

  • @RealDougal need to put in the a war zone for a while in direct fire no hope of getting out then all of sudden the airforce comes uses those disproportional weapons to save your sorry ass...what country you live in?

  • @jamestuc80 I live in a country that doesn't take part in other people's wars, Ireland. Therefore I have a neutral opinion, and am not biased like you are. And I wouldn't give a shit if they got me out or not - I still wouldn't be happy about their usage. Besides, I wouldn't be in that situation in the first place - I don't take part in unjust wars, remember?

  • @RealDougal THAT explains everything your just jealous that we have a better army and we are one of the best countrys in THE WORLD :D!

  • Comment removed

  • @RealDougal You can insult whatever country you want, but don't ever insult a soldier.

  • @TheHumanSpectre dunno man. most USA army marines or rangers are these redneck trigger happy guys. but thats just the stereotype is guess. and US army statistics show that acually alot of % of the guys joining up are joining because they played lots of videogames

  • @UnitedGameZone No it's not they have to be well educated.

  • @UnitedGameZone When you become a soldier it doesn't matter who you were before, it only matters who you become.

  • @TheHumanSpectre soldiers are not exempt of being human.

  • @enriquesalazar009

    how u can sy that.

    u are really a idiot.

the soldier is a inocent people, they only follow orders, and do their orders with honor. they are nice exemple, but they kill people.

  • @American22people Wow, you misunderstood and overreacted. Analyze what other people say, and then respond. I respect and admire all soldiers for what they do, but they shouldn't be judged differently from other people if they make mistakes unrelated to their service.

  • @TheHumanSpectre A soldier goes through things no man, women or child should see in their life time but do not simply see it, they choose to see it for the sake of their own country. Anyone who insults a soldier should swap places with them for a day out in Afghanistan and experience the terrors that go on in war.

  • @TheSpiritualGamer I agree my friend.

  • @RealDougal Thank you! We got some hope when we got people like you. That paragraph you put their is absolutely correct.

  • @SteelMantle Thanks for your support - it's always heartening to know there are other people out there who think like I do, and understand what I'm saying.

  • @RealDougal You need to realize the American people do not need to be "informed" of your pathetic outlook on what our countrymen do for us day by day.

  • This is a very powerful piece of music. Hans Zimmer has created another masterpiece. I would love him to return to his previous style of composing.

  • @joeypie96 When people here either ignore him or stop replying to him (or he leaves of his own free will/stops believing in no war, both highly unlikely)

  • @MEUSOC45ACP It looks like we can all learn a thing or two.

  • @joeypie96 it's not really a problem. It's an ideal contrary to what most people believe, so it appears to be a problem.

  • @MEUSOC45ACP i see, so how does it end

  • Whats RealDougals problem?

  • @joeypie96 Quite simply put, my problem is what is known as "unjust war". "Just wars", e.g. - Somalia, WWII, etc, I have no problems with (or less problems, to be honest), but wars such as Iraq and Vietnam I DO have problems with. Maybe if people admitted they were wrong I wouldn't be leaving so many harsh messages, because normally I hate people that do this, but many people think the Americans were right in both Iraq and Vietnam, and "heroes", and that pisses me off. Hope you understand now.

  • Our boys the defenders of not just American Freedom but Human Freedom they go to war to fight for freedom, or country. Put in the heat of battle they fight for neither they fight for there brothers. You may not agree with the war but support and respect the warrior in death and in life. God Bless America and God Bless our Armed Forces. Long Live the Republic

  • @bigfonge All the wars between 1945 and 1990 were to stop Russian influence (communism). It wasn't to "protect innocent lives". It was all part of the cold war. Russia attacked countries that swayed western and USA and allies attacked countries that swayed Soviet. I promise you its all political...

  • @Hendrik1293 That's bull, It's not all "political". Don't believe me? Okay then. Imagine a world where you are all equal. Good so far. And you have one international hero who protects you all the time and defends you, but he needs your money and takes your freedom with seductive words and an iron fist. Where your actions are not your own. You are ALWAYS monitored. Where the slightest dissent or grumble can cause you to disappear at night, never to be seen again. And where all words aren't true.

  • @darman242 Be quiet you dont know what your talking about

  • @Hendrik1293 And how do you know that? You know nothing about me, and already you're assuming that I know nothing. Great powers of perception you have.

  • Peace is a lie.

  • All of you, read this:

I respect veterans from WWI, WWII, Somalia, and other places where fighting is necessary, but that's it. I respect the veterans of Black Hawk Down, okay? I just wanted to clear that up.

Now, I have something to say, that I want you ALL to think about very carefully. Do any of you really know what went on in Iraq, or in Vietnam? If you think war is necessary, so be it, BUT, do you think killing innocent people is? If any of you do, then I hope that person fucking dies.

  • @RealDougal War is War...it is impossible to prevent EVERY Innocent person from being killed.

  • @jamestuc80 Attitudes like that make them get killed. War is unjust if they do die, therefore - I won't support it. If that wasn't the case, I might think otherwise.

  • @RealDougal civilian infractacide has happened in every war in the world on both sides,

  • Can we not just appreciate this beautiful piece of music?

  • Oh and to all of you who want RealDougal to leave, don't reply to him. It works in the same principle as not feeding the trolls

  • @RealDougal I don't want to get involved, but war is inevitable. A peace world in itself is created by brainwashing of natural instincts. Sorry, but thats the way humans work mate. Oh and to correct your earlier statement, the United States was involved in WWII before Pearl Harbor, they supplied England with war matieral and combat vessels.

  • @MEUSOC45ACP I'm aware it's inevitable - I just want to change that. Fighting is natural instinct, but killing doesn't have to be.

  • @RealDougal if you hate america and war so bad why do u waste your time on this channle??

  • @2016Ranger Because I PROTEST against war. Do you know the meaning of that word? And no, I don't choose to remain silent. I choose to bypass that right. Deal with it.

  • @RealDougal oh and you also have the right to remain silent...please exercise that right

  • I think it is most important, that few stood against many. They did not give up, nor did they surrender. Right or wrong, when the whole world came down on them, they stood together, and many of them died together. It is more about brotherhood than politics.

  • tired of dougal ranting?

    flag his posts.

  • @2016Ranger I flagged the shit outta that dougal.

  • @captainRcornelius Well done - it won't stop me. You're pathetic if you disagree with innocent people being killed. And heartless.

  • respect for all we died in this war R.I.P

  • @lilmeyer13 The Americans fought in Iraq cause Iraq invaded Kuwait (during the times of George H. W. Bush) and 9/11 happened some time later during the times of George W. Bush). 2 different facts.

  • @Altairego Good Luck man and I hope you'll return safely

  • Good luck, Godspeed.

  • They'll never understand why they do it...... they'll never understand, that it's about the men next to you. And that's it. That's it......

  • @RealDougal not trying to get invovled in your debate, but It's not possible to disband every army. Someone, through their human instincts, will arm a group of people to become more powerful. Then of course, others will band together to defend themselves. Pretty much every nation has their own military, defence force, militia. So if all armies went to hell, more will just step into their place. It's the human lust for power that makes armies.

  • @MEUSOC45ACP I know, and I believe it's a great pity all of what you said is true. I wish it weren't the case, but even if it is impossible, it won't stop me from protesting.

  • 41 skinny's disliked this

  • too many damm good soldiers died not only that day but in every battle in history

  • LOL, americans...

  • monkeys you uncle we should all have respect for him

  • I mean dont u care for what they do for you?

  • Why press the dislike buttom when there are soldiers out there in the frontlines fighting for your life and freedom.....well you should be very asshamed to even press the dislike buttom for this video dont you care for what they do to you?!!.You might think my english is quite bad because i think i wrote asshamed wron but i still respect the soldiers who fight for the of my country.

  • @mauriciomessi123 i respect u for writing this, the troops who went in somalia were extraordinary but so are the soliders who fight for freedom, whichever country they are from.

  • Such a simple song, but damn is it awesome!!

  • god bless all that have fallen. usa and canadian. although i am not religious. i have the utmost respect for the canadian and american soldiers. The most brave. most passionate soldiers on the planet.

  • @tennis19899 for those who have given so much. this song is to u

  • @tennis19899 i respect them as well but you cant forget the british. we must have respect for every solider fighting for freedom

  • i was fucking depressed as hell after the dealta snipers randy and gary died i was like fuck noooooooooo why

  • @eubank1998 You mean in 93'?

  • this is a good song to think about the sacrifices made by the american serviceman that lost their lives that fateful day october 3 1993 those 19 americans will never be forgotten especially Randy Shugart and Gary Gordon R.I.P. your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

  • @armyranger1531 Sadly, many people already have forgotten. I for one will never forget. They fought to try to make the world a better place, yet people forgot about it.

  • @armyranger1531 thanks and my uncle was in that battle the pilot who wa captured but he is fine but havent seen him for years :(

  • @armyranger1531 my uncle was in that battle, he was one of the overhead snipers that were covering the Army Rangers and Delta, I remember him saying that seeing that first black hawk going down made him relize that no victory is worth sacrifice..

  • shit again hans zimmer :D

how does it come that so much music i listen to is from hans zimmer xD

  • the one thing nhumins are good at WAR

  • Tribute for all K.I.A

  • i just came from iraq 2 months ago but im going back in march this songs remember me the good times with my partner jacob lawrence rest in peace

  • there is one movie that could possibly have better music than blackhawk down - and thats gladiator, also scored by hand zimmer

  • One day I know for sure I will be a 2LT and a platoon leader. I will be Infantry. Since I decided this, one question has wreaked havoc in my mind: how can I have men under my command die and know that I was responsible? I gave the order, they tried to carry it out and died, because of me. I know this may sound stupid

  • @Chicoski99 I know what you mean brother. Somday, i will be an officer in the airforc and will be in the same place you will be. In our lives, there will be very tough decisions to make, and for you and me, as well as many others who are called to serve, this will be one we will live with for the rest of our lives. Always remember though, those men should not die in vain, and you shall always have your brothers in arms, on whom you can depend on and confide in.

  • @Lsumba97 or you could watch MLP.

  • @Lsumba97 thanks. Good luck.

  • @Chicoski99 thanks you too

  • I'm a potentiol royal marines commando officer, currently in training and I'll most probably be deployed in Somalia by the end of this year or early next year, I may be British but I will remember the brave US Army Rangers and DELTA who died on the very same soil that I will be holding off from the insurgents.. what saddens me the most is that after 2 decades of turmoil and conflict the bloodshed still hasn't ended which is why I have to go their, I only hope I will return, per mare per terram

  • @Altairego You've got my prayers behind you my friend. I'm not religious, but still, do what you have to do over there. And thank you.

  • @Altairego good luck in the army, you do us proud. just like the soldiers who died in somalia in this terrible event.

  • @Altairego Good luck and godspeed and go back home safely

  • @Altairego Good luke I'm American but I respect all people who fight for what is right and thankyou for sacrificing your life for your country and for the world good luck

  • @Altairego Good luck mate.

  • @Altairego Best of Luck brother.

  • @Altairego Godspeed...it's a damn shame that they haven't changed over there. Thanks for honoring our boys...here's wishing you and yours the very best!!!

  • Najpiękniejsza muzyka wszech czasów .

  • I keep having nightmares about being a prisoner of war, war, losing family to war, etc,, this calms me down

  • Only the dead have seen the end of the war.

    Plato.

  • 1st picture: Soap from CoD4, MW2 and MW3?

  • @MasterKaci He does looks like soap with a Mohawk hair LOL

  • The American Marines were seen as neutral by the somalis If attacked they defended themselves but they were not chosing sides. The Clinton administration decided that adid was impediment to stabilizing the country and that he must be removed the army replaced the marine unit that bush sr had sent in dec 92. We were there because of the 300,000 dead from civil war once we decided to change the mission the rangers and delta should have had america armor as qrf

  • the dislike bar is like lady gaga's penis. it's small, and it shouldn't be there.

  • @pianobambino3000 ahaha ! You're totally right ;)

    Semper Fidelis.

  • @pianobambino3000 I liked the original top comment better. That's true though.

  • you american bastards destriyed my land Serbia and now becouse of you i cant live in my house in Kosovo BITCHES

  • @SVONJA1 the war destroyed your house and also your country , this isn't american fault faggot.

  • @SVONJA1 I live in America, and guess what? There are lots of people here without homes too, who have lost their homes to corruption and now struggle to find food everyday. I'm sorry you lost your house, but hating people for where they were born only makes you more of the problem and more like the corrupt ones who cause war.

  • @SVONJA1 Now why would you say that and add this to your playlist of "Favorite Videos"?

  • @SVONJA1 Its easy to blame a particular person or group for your problems, but really if you were in their shoes would you be any different? If you want to blame anything, blame life. Some people have power, others are powerless. That's just the way it is...

  • i feel like a good person when i listen to this song. i know it makes no sence, but that's how i feel.

  • Everyone dies. Sadly we can not choose when or why, but we can decide how we meet that end.

  • @FalconFallen i hope my end is in war cuz i will die for my land

  • 40 men got left behind.

  • @PlushGallade soilders wouldnt even leave those men behind, no matter what. No man left behind means NO MAN or woman

  • This is what the army is all about: Leave No Man Behind

  • Check out my rendition of Lion King & Partition!

  • Piękny Film , Piękna Muzyka

  • Life

    Is

    For

    Everyone

These men and women fight for our way of life and freedom. This music really does make me wish I had the courage to join the Armed Forces and fight for that freedom. You really don't know anything about life until you serve and fight for your country.

  • @IceWarrior101 So then join. You won't regret it. Fight a war and hope you survive, because it's the best you can do to honor these people.

  • @yesiamawizardjonny I can honor them any which way possible without joining.. I don't have the balls and judging by some of my COD and MW3 games I play I wouldn't last long lol...

  • we have the right to protect the most valueable person in our lives, or to serve your country with respect and dignity.. so why will your rase your hand if YOU think its all about the killing, your wrong, people serve their country for loyalty and its duties... therefore the two sides that are battling have their ressions yet might come to us as a threat or danger, never forget this people life is rich well time is enemy...

  • I think US soldiers are expendables for Military-industrial complex and politicians in these days.

  • Everyone dies. Very few of us have a choice in when we go. However there is no greater gift than to lay down your life in the protection of those who cannot defend themselves.
