  • 135 years from the date of Jack London birth. He was born on January, 12, 1876

  • 15 degree celsius? dude in the book it was like 65 degree celsius!

  • @boulein it says 50 degrees below zero

  • Comment removed

  • @boulein In the book it was 75 degree but i think it was in farenheit (so yes, it must be about 65 degree in celsius - rare but not impossible in that area)

  • i got some homework on "how to build a fire" by jack london and this helped me a bit but is anyone knows a longer video please comment asap

  • i need help in my homewok sheets

  • Haha that was a horrible adaptation! Jack London's To build a fire - for retards.

  • This movie was hilarious when he was hitting his hands at his sides like a retard ROFLMAO

  • @KEEPAWAYVILEANDBILE It's because he needs to get the blood flowing to his hands to keep them from freezing.

  • I read this in high school, I still remember it after many years

  • It was a good book its sad he died D: My class is reading books with jack london in it so far we only read Jason's Gold- William Hobbs and To Build a Fire-Jack(John Griffith) London.

  • Jack London was the fu&%in bomb!

  • fick dich

  • come si chiama questo film ?

  • Excellent story. Shit adaption.

  • this movie. is TERRIBLE! ITS SOOO BORING! Were watching it in english. its stupid some guy walking around in snow making fires then trying to kill his dog. poitnless

  • "DAY HAD BROKEN cold and gray, exceedingly cold and gray, when the man turned aside from the main Yukon trail and climbed the high earth-bank, where a dim and little-traveled trail led eastward through the fat spruce timberland. It was a steep bank, and he paused for breath at the top, excusing the act to himself by looking at his watch. It was nine o'clock. There was no sun nor hint of sun, though there was not a cloud in the sky." J.L.

Your narration sucks! J.L WOULD VOMIT AT THIS GARBAGE!

  • slowest story of my life. haha.

  • not a good film, but a decent story from a great writer

  • Are those teeths what he spitted ?

  • Tobacco. It's an old school way of testing temperature. Spit freezes on impact to snow at 50 below zero, but his was freezing in the air before hitting the ground, which would imply that it's closer to 70 below.

  • very good. Just reread the story for the first time since highschool and you almost exactly describe what London implied by that detail.

  • i loved this story when i first read it in middle school. it introduced me to jack london. and i owe a lot to this, and the art of short-storytelling.

  • ace im doin this in middle school right now
