@chyrd The Quran is not a book of science. But it is a book of Signs. The science messages in the Quran r only signs for us to think & observe the created so that we realise the creator.

It talks abt science to prove by supernatural means that God existed. These verses act as a catalyst for people to explore God's creation. That's what triggers the earlier arabs to explore & advanced in many fields namely astronomy & medicine. Alas! Now many muslims r straying away from what God persued.
