  • He really improved dramatically over the time he was in MMA from his first fight. I was impressed when he fought Liddell. He made Liddell work to win. The Shamrock's did a fantastic job training him. Although he didn't have the natural talent like some of the other fighters, he really worked his ass off to win and did really well. He went from being a mediocre fighter to respectable and above avereage in MMA. It takes a lot of balls to fight the guys he fought. I have to respect him.

  • Guy Metzger had great athleticism, but from what I saw during his kickboxing days here in Dallas, he was sometimes pitted against very weak talent in order to pad up his record. Some of those guys didn't have any business in the ring. I also wasn't impressed with his UFC debut, and neither were the commentators. That being said, it looks like he gave Chuck Liddell a run for his money.
