FPS games are deffinitely still fun to play online but when you're playing war games like this it would be really cool if you had orders you had to carry out. in battlefield 2 for example you have a squad leader but hardly anyone listens to the commands. cooperative gameplay is the next step in online games

how long does it take for you to find a game on Gaylo with your buddies (If you have any)? I can find a game on Killzone 2 with 30 Players in 10 seconds if that. With another 20 - 30 games with 30 players aswell.

If a game is good or bad is just opinions, myself I think this game is awesome. Yeah, good internet decreases lag. But myself when I play resistance 2, and cod4 at a friend it almost never lags. And this game also has new server architecture, which will decrease lag, which also the e3 gameplay showed, NO LAG AT ALL!

First and foremost your going to experience lag in any game you play. If the server your playing on is not next to you there will be a delay/lag time for your download/upload to travel to where ever the server is.
Your connection makes or breaks you. If others you play against are playing on a low end DSL connection which you will encounter they will mostly likely lag. So don't sit here and say PS3 is LAG FREE because it isn't.

The maps are probably going to be big enough to support 256 players, I think it is an amazing idea, and that xBox will have to copy it soon.
Project Natal is amazing too tough, I don't know which is better now, ps3 or Xbox, but I'm leaning towards ps3.
I only have the Wii anyway so i think i have a balanced opinion.

To TheHusky9: What is wrong with the graphics? It CANT come out to the ps3, just because the 360 isnt strong enough! If it could, it would lag alot, just imagine gears2 with 10 players, wooh! Or halo with 16, it lags alot. Resistance2 servers with 60 players doesnt lag at all.
To the rest of you: There is alot more than 100.000 who play ps3, this game is badass!

for 'the most powerful console in the market', this game doesn't even get by red steel! And no, see thats where you're wrong, if you've got GOOD internet, games dont lag. The only game i played that had awful lag on 360 was rainbow six vegas 2, and gears 2 when it first came out. On ps3s ive played ive seen disastrous voice lag, lag on battlefield, lag on cod4, and lag on resistance 2. No console is lag free, but the more players you have, more chance somethings gna go wrong

And no it wasn't my internet, it was my friend's ps3. Finally, prove to me that resistance 2 is one of the top lag free games, because i heavily doubt that.

If a game is good or bad is just opinions, myself I think this game is awesome. Yeah, good internet decreases lag. But myself when I play resistance 2, and cod4 at a friend it almost never lags. And this game also has new server architecture, which will decrease lag, which also the e3 gameplay showed, NO LAG AT ALL!

It seems like I forgot to say that there is a new server architecture, wich will decrease the lag. They have already had some betas or something like that, and what I read from gamespot etc. it all worked good, and lag wasnt a major issue

On a dedicated server if one person lags, they are the only person that will lag, it does not effect anyone else.
Which is different on Xbox LIVE as they use Peer to Peer, if one person lags it bring everyones connection down.

i'm actually going to comment on the game instead of being like these fucking fanboy dipshits. MAG looks good, but i'm on the fence about getting it. it's going to be one of those games where i die every ten seconds. i'm not into intensity through the entire match.

Why the hell are you guys argueing over the xbox and ps3? i have an xbox and it's awesome. Never had any troubles with it once and i've had it for 3 years now. I think the ps3 is awesome and i love killzone 2 and resistance 2 on my friends ps3. But this game is noing to be sick. This is my reasons for getting a ps3 but im definitely still going to play my xbox because i've played both online. And the xbox defientely beats the ps3 in that aspect. And also 50 dollars a year is nothing.

First and foremost your going to experience lag in any game you play. If the server your playing on is not next to you there will be a delay/lag time for your download/upload to travel to where ever the server is.
Your connection makes or breaks you. If others you play against are playing on a low end DSL connection which you will encounter they will mostly likely lag. So don't sit here and say PS3 is LAG FREE because it isn't.
