I have naturally really clear skin but my problem is redness around my nose and cheeks. I noticed since I started covering those minor imperfections up with tinted moisturizer that my skin isn't as clear. I make sure to take everything off before I go to bed. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, maybe I need to use a different tinted moisturizer? Currently I am using Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15. If anyone has any suggestions that would be amazing!

@babyrolita do you also wash your face with a face wash and water? Makeup can seep into your pores and simple makeup remover won't get it off. Try getting an gentle exfoliating cleanser :) Hope this helps, and if the problem persists, you might be having a reaction to the tinted moisturizer you are using. If so, you'll have to stop using it, maybe switch to only using a bit of concealer on the redder areas. I hope this helps you, and if you have any questions you can always ask me :)

@babyrolita Try using mineral makeup. A lot of people see improvement after switching to mineral makeup - such are Bare Minerals or something like that. It might also be the product itself that is triggering a reaction in your skin. If you want to use a foundation instead of a tinted moisturizer I personally reccommend Mac Studio Fix Fluid- it is non acnegenic, and I have used it for years. Good luck!

@Cooperpink1 It depends. Foundation is something every girl needs because every one can pick out a tone that matches them. But palettes are different because every one has a very different eye color, and it's a matter of opinion because every eye color can wear a few different shades. Green eyes should use purples, golds and greens. Blue eyes are great with neutrals light pinks. Brown eyes can wear anything, but if you're still not sure, always go with neutrals.
