And yet still no firefight vs like they promised would be available on release. Honestly, this is too little, too late. I gave up on halo Reach's unfun mechanics and crappy playlists a long time ago. I miss halo 2 and halo 3 matchmaking, those were good.
@MasterRC I know, I just found that amusing. Too bad they didn't have it in Reach.
Also, I have a gameplay almost exactly like this, just with default Reach :D
Just thought I would mention that since you said you havn't seen anything like it posted before. I could upload it to my fileshare if you want to see it.
Agree, with this statement. Before bloom was put up as something- It was a non issue. Now, it's great to have a choosing of it. Right now I think they got it all backwards. Pros get the noob shot... While the Beginners have to time the pull. If this was a whole Reach update like I was saying. Maybe that would make sence.
RC have fun getting to the next(whichever it is)! I would like to see more Zero-Broom! LOL
Expansion to Campaign and Firefight recommended. I am looking ahead to using these weapons as they are intended. Finally! Reach will have guns you can shoot properly.
wtf. i saw rc master post on the waypoint forums and told him to post a new halo video. and about half an hour after that he uploads a video! btw rc master or ultimate rc im boss slug. ( if u even saw my post on the forums lol)
@MasterRC Do you know why they are choosing to reduce bloom in the title update? I know that Halo traditionally had zero bloom before Reach, but I always thought that the bloom added a level of skill to the game that helped set apart the average players from the really good players. If all playlists eventually go to this state of reduced bloom I'll be kinda sad.
Halo had bloom before Reach, it was just a small amount so it wasn't very noticeable as it was in Reach, plus the crosshair didn't expand to show it.ly
@TimmyT9204 yeah there are videos out there demonstrating it. Which some people like to ignore, and complain that Bungie killed Halo with it and "343 are gods" by reducing/removing it.
@Tuskin38 Yeah I disagree with that kind of view. I feel as if Bungie made a good decision by making bloom noticeable. The game would have been fine without noticeable bloom like previous games, but either decision would have been fine, it was just a choice they made and it turned out to still be a great game. It seems very arbitrary to me that 343 have decided to escentually undo the decision that Bungie made when they were designing Reach. There's nothing wrong with bloom, so why remove it?
@Tuskin38 Don't give me that crap. Halo 2's hitscan BR? Halo CE's pistol semi auto fired? Halo 3's BR never had bloom either. It just had spread (Only noticable during longer ranges too, so mid range battles weren't random).
However Halo's automatic weapons did have bloom, I'll give you that one.
@Ins3ktz The Halo 3 BR had the same effect of bloom within each 3 round burst: each shot was less accurate than the last. But the error reset completely before the next burst.
H3 Carbine DID have ROF dependent accuracy, actually. Little known fact.
Yes, but unlike the DMR in Reach, the ROF dependent accuracy was only in the single reticle. In the DMR in Reach, the interior reticle is the "true" bloom, which is great as it's just like the Carbine. However due to bullet magnetism and those huge hitboxes in Reach, the shots may travel to the outer circle too.
@TehGameGeek so maybe you don't play Reach then , Bloom is that thing that makes the crosshairs = the reticule , expand when you shot multiple times without a pause between shots , with 343 industries now in control of Reach , they do major changes like reducing or practicly taking out the bloom from the weapons like the DMR and the needle rifle wich is a big change since now the DMR and as you see in the video are way powerful that it were before the title update.
@Edgehead178 Reticle bloom means that when you shoot too fast, you lose accuracy. However, this no longer happens with the Needle Rifle or with a crouched DMR in the Title Update - you always have near-perfect accuracy for every shot.
@Edgehead178 you can tell if u have bloom if ur guns retical goes out therefore its name is retical blom because urlike a flower blooms outward ur guns retical would go outwards
lol reach

Agree about the NR on Wayont...it was funny before the TU and now it's just a slaughter...you don't even need to aim!

I'm a big fan of bloom (I think it makes for more skilled games) but watching this was a lot of fun.
I'd be interested to see more of the BTB games. They're usually more fun to watch; people get up to some crazy, silly stuff.
