RIP - wenn wir 1978 auf Partys freiwillig was hörten und tanzten, das in Hitparaden spielte, dann war das natürlich "Love Machine", alles andere, vor allem Disco, lehnten wir damals heftig ab.

@NeckoDecko Als er 2009 ausgezeichnet wurde, war er kurz im Fernsehen zu sehen, da wusste man, jetzt ist er 60 geworden und erinnerte sich, dass nicht alles in den 70ern mühsam war, warum die Berichterstattung immer nur Falco nennt, kann ich nicht beurteilen, auch Peter Wolf - 1982 so wie die J. Geils Band im Stadion Vorgruppe mit seiner Gefährtin Ina Wolf beim Rolling-Stones-Konzert ist manchmal im Fernsehen - warum, weiß ich leider auch nicht :-((

Kurt was a phenomenon, and I'm not sure if he realized his huge potential, or wanted to use it. He always ran his own and personal line. He wasn't that accessible, or "public" like the big stars, as one can see in every live performance. He looks a bit...autistic, if you want. Nevertheless, he had enough success at his time. He was/is an exceptional talent in songwriting and composing, but not in self promotion. Unfortunately !
