I was at the point with this where any more words seemed to cloud things, rather than make them clearer. Remembrance Sunday came, and I went with what I had. Glad it still has some impact, thanks nordicsky.
It certainly does. I am briefly in England now and the poppy seems as ubiquitous on the streets of London as it must have been on the Western Front, a potent image.
It seemed silly almost, to make such a short video. There is plenty else said by others though, so I decided to leave it at that. I'm glad I did! Thank you for adding to it.
Original army surplus. Came dusty complete with cobble stones entangled. Seems strange perhaps as a trampoline screen, but hey, they were almost giving it away. Could be seaweed if you like though, that's the beauty of it!
This shows the power of language. Just five words launched a mass of ideas and imagery in my minds eye.
Regards, Peter

I really liked this. Its a case of brevity is the soul of wit. Well done Mark.

Almost seemed too short to post! I couldn't seem to improve it by adding to it though, I'm glad the message is getting through!

Relfections upon what is said last long after the words have been spoken. Thank you for the reminder, the message and the opportunity.

It does have a certain charm. I seem to want to pop it so it will remain seaweed to me. :)
