The results from spinal decompression machines (like VAX D) are virtually the same as those from flexion distraction. The difference is that getting treatments from VAX D and similar machines is way more expensive than flexion distraction. Stick with flexion-distraction for back pain. VAX D works but why pay the extra cost for the same results?
Flexion Distraction could be worth a try, if you have disc problems. Flexion distraction has a lot of evidence behind it and is one of the best treatments for low back pain. The spinal decompression machines have promising research results but are still fairly new, so i would trust flexion distraction more. It isn't a cure but it usually very effective in symptom management.
I am not a doctor, I'm still in chiropractic school but I do know quite a bit about these methods.
how does this compare to VAX D therapy
