Yamaha Tenere, I had two in my life when I used to live in Brazil. The Yamaha Tenere 600. The first used to be blue and yellow and the second one, the tank was half white, half blue, both was the new model in the earlys 90` with the headlights. Thanks to the video.

I'll be honest, I'm a ktm man but I r-e-a-l-l-y like the new Tenere. I've been told Oct 08 release for Australia. Set up right, you could race the guts out of it. Apart from basic matenence I'd say 60,000+. It's great to see something else go full circle. Good one Yamaha!!

My first motorcicle was a '87 XT 600, my last one was a XT 660 R. But I had to sell it. I would love to have a real Ténére again, its simply the best enduro.

But I think my next bike will be a Triumph Street Triple.

whats the difference between the xt660r and the xt660z tenere? is anyone of them better than the kawasaki klr 650?

The Tenere has been designed for extreme off road terrain and as a result is fitted with more durable frame & suspensions, a large range 22Lt.tank. The XT660R is more of an enduro that can handle both tarmac and mild off road terrains. I have no knowledge of the Kawasaki you've mentioned.
