Poor Reach. 31st October Reach exploded. Many lives were lost, too many souls were lost. I will be saluting the Noble Team on this day because they gave their life, mostly willingly, to make sure Keyes, Master-Cheif, Cortana etc. etc. get of Reach before it exploded. @Orochi45 Technically six din't die, I saw a survey saying which characters would you like to return which didn't actually die on camera. Arbiter came up with 40% followed by six with 27% and then you got others like Buck and his ODSTs and more but I forgot.

@Jtownlegends Because Noble Six doesn't HAVE 15-20 days before he dies- the Pillar Of Autumn helps make a final stand in orbit after launch, and Noble Six dies less than an hour after the launch of PoA. Less than a week later, the Pillar Of Autumn makes a random slipspace jump fleeing the carnage of the human's final stand on reach. Exiting this jump, they find Alpha Halo(or Installation 04 if you please) and the Halo series begins back at Halo:Combat Evolved.

However if the game and novels connect with each other then I think Jun escort Halsey to the underground facility, which led her to meet Fred, Kelly, Will...etc. (in First Strike). Jun probably went to somewhere else, maybe he fought on earth too...hopefully...but I'd like to see John meets up with the rest of the surviving spartan and kill some more flood. Not sure about Halo 4...but a new novel about him will be nice.
well, the way it worked out, jun and dr. halsey went to castle rock, a hidden underground base on reach. We never find out what happens to jun,...anyways, acording to the books, after the first game, chief heads back to reach, at least whats left of it. He finds the remainder of the spartan 2's, and together they head out. At the books end Halsey kidnaps a spartan (kelly) and she heads to Onix. where the next gen spartan3's are. but its a shield world made to protect peeps from the flood

@ALLIED7621 actually 343 industries, while it does have many previous bungie employees, was not founded to continue the franchise but was set up by Microsoft to act as a go-between for Microsoft and Bungie when Bungie became independent and no longer Microsoft owned. This is because Microsoft owns the Halo franchise, which is why ensemble made Halo Wars
outer colonies in the years leading up to Reach. You might end up playing a spartan or maybe if they want to change it a bit play as the Covenant as they savagely race across the outer colonies glassing any human planet they come across. I just want to see more of a huge universe they made.
I dont think 343 Industries (Is it Studios?) should go forward with Halo. They should go farther back because what we have seen is the last two years of the war (Starting in 2552-53) Halo Wars is looked by many as non-canon but you can count that one if you want. This was a 27 year long war we've seen how it most likely ends but not how we almost lost. Every time I played Halo you were never losing (Until Reach but even then you made them pay dearly) I want to see how they losed all of the-
So far I think 343 Industries will make a Halo 4. The planet at the end of Halo 3's Legendary ending is Onyx, and that is where Jun and Dr. Halsey went on the pelican. The rest of the Spartan III's will be there, as they were in the novel Ghosts of Onyx. They will team up to fight the flood. (Yes, the flood are alive.)
You know what else would be cool, if there was a stranded Covenant carrier ship which had crashed prior the even in which the Prophets betray the elites and all their communication devices were broken, it could have Elites,Jackles,Grunts,Hunters etc. and they do not know that the war is over, they could've survived and they could be in great numbers and they could be at war against the Spartan's and all their communication devices are broken as well, it could also have vehicles and such.
A spartan cannot carry his own baggage, is own problems, because he already carries the weight of the world on his shoulders -CPO. Mendez.

First of all,
You start up reach, There's a blue cloud of dust in space.
You finish Halo 3, Master Chief floats through that cloud.
A planet is very dark, maybe reach?
End of Halo Reach:
After you die, you see you're helmet in ruins, then a new day, green grass, etc, to the right is a crashed structure, most likely a ship.
To your left, is a pillar, (If im right, there are 4 pillars, one for every season.)
Who knows?
Maybe Chief is on Reach.

Jun probably went to somewhere else, maybe he fought on earth too...hopefully...but I'd like to see John meets up with the rest of the surviving spartan and kill some more flood. Not sure about Halo 4...but a new novel about him will be nice.

well, the way it worked out, jun and dr. halsey went to castle rock, a hidden underground base on reach. We never find out what happens to jun,...anyways, acording to the books, after the first game, chief heads back to reach, at least whats left of it. He finds the remainder of the spartan 2's, and together they head out. At the books end Halsey kidnaps a spartan (kelly) and she heads to Onix. where the next gen spartan3's are. but its a shield world made to protect peeps from the flood

do you guys know why the halo was even created it was created to destroy the flood $ flood only once the covnent knew they wanted to use it as a wepon but the rings force was so big it could wipe out earth(thats when halo:ce starts) menwile reach is already gone and their is a song in HALO 2 cald the ghosts of reach if u didnt know &that the foruners stored dna from living things aftr- they used the rings to wipe out the flood if im wrong plz corect me but I THINK IM RIGHT resourses: my brain :3

@cyberpolicebandu nope wrong the halo's where created as the only sulution to stop the flood...that sulution means distroying the universe and every living being with it,eventually the flood will die from hunger....this solution was found by the forrunners.
they did it before as their ultimate sacrifice to the universe,but they collected dna of eery living species and kept it hidden those th9ings that look like little eiffel towers part 1 of ?

the effeltower thingies landed on the home planet of every species and evolved the DNA to real beings....the coventant is a group of allien races who believe that the halo's are a gift from the gods and that those who fire it save the galaxy from the flood and they will become gods...

they had two options fire halo and kill the flood (and restart the cirkel)
or try blowing up halo without firing it.
cortana found that solution (if noble 6 woudn't be able to get cortana to the pillar of autumm the world would be blown to shit!)
cortana found a way and together with the chief they stopped halo...

and with delta halo they found all 6 halos.
humanity lost almost everything on the first halo and were running out of time.
soo 343 guilty spark monitor of installation 00 came with the ark.
the ark has the power to activate all halo's and destroy everything.
while keeping it out of the hands of the covenant humanity found themselve working together with the flood to stop the halo's.

@cyberpolicebandu but after the covenant was eliminated the flood turned on humanity and tried wiping us out the chief was able to establish peace in the galaxy by sacrificing himself (now hes somewhere in space)
but no one ever said the flood survived....or died.

May I respond to your thing about starting a movie of Halo series.... no. If they do that you ruin the bond and the creators amazingess of the story and characters. Plus this is better as a game and EXPLODING with EPICNESS in ever way possible.

Well idk if you guys know this but 343 industries is comprosed of a good majority of former bunjie employees founded by Frank O connor he founded it because hem wanted to continue the Halo franchise and when asked if master chief will be in another game he stated that yes there would be another game involving chief ...soo there you go CHIEF WILL BE BACK we are just gunna have to wait a while id assume prolly around 2015

@ALLIED7621 actually 343 industries, while it does have many previous bungie employees, was not founded to continue the franchise but was set up by Microsoft to act as a go-between for Microsoft and Bungie when Bungie became independent and no longer Microsoft owned. This is because Microsoft owns the Halo franchise, which is why ensemble made Halo Wars

outer colonies in the years leading up to Reach. You might end up playing a spartan or maybe if they want to change it a bit play as the Covenant as they savagely race across the outer colonies glassing any human planet they come across. I just want to see more of a huge universe they made.

I dont think 343 Industries (Is it Studios?) should go forward with Halo. They should go farther back because what we have seen is the last two years of the war (Starting in 2552-53) Halo Wars is looked by many as non-canon but you can count that one if you want. This was a 27 year long war we've seen how it most likely ends but not how we almost lost. Every time I played Halo you were never losing (Until Reach but even then you made them pay dearly) I want to see how they losed all of the-

So far I think 343 Industries will make a Halo 4. The planet at the end of Halo 3's Legendary ending is Onyx, and that is where Jun and Dr. Halsey went on the pelican. The rest of the Spartan III's will be there, as they were in the novel Ghosts of Onyx. They will team up to fight the flood. (Yes, the flood are alive.)

You know what else would be cool, if there was a stranded Covenant carrier ship which had crashed prior the even in which the Prophets betray the elites and all their communication devices were broken, it could have Elites,Jackles,Grunts,Hunters etc. and they do not know that the war is over, they could've survived and they could be in great numbers and they could be at war against the Spartan's and all their communication devices are broken as well, it could also have vehicles and such.
