Hey i got a question... I played all the RE since the first 1.. About one year ago i bought Re5 for ps3 but i didnt like it that much (i didnt have wireless in that time, and the story mode looked kind of bored to me, all lvls with the same dynamic, kill a bunch of zombies and then solve the puzzle) so i sold it... The thing is that last week I saw Re5 in PSN just for 30$ i since then i have been felt like playing it.. so i dont know if I should buy it.. Please give me your advice

I think it's best for you to buy it on psn because if you feel like forget re5 so you sold it but if you want to play it again, then BUY IT again?? no...buy it on psn because you can delete re5 if you don't like it but you can RE-DOWNLOAD anytime if you want play again, do it on re-download so you don't have to worry about buy it again or sell it...but small problem..download can take a long time. so do i make sense? no?? lol

No one complained about killing spanish people being the subject of gunfire in RE4. There is literally no reason for this game to be treated as a racist game when RE4 passed off clean. Would you people shut up about not being Resident Evil. You all liked RE4, so why should you be complaining? OK yes the earlier versions looked better, but it didn't help the fact that people complained it to being racist. It pisses me off when I see people complaining about this not being like the old games. I would say if you don't like all the games in the main series, they you can't be considered a fan.

am i the only one who found this game to be too heroic? first off, the two main characters are both hot, chris is really jocky type and sheva is realyyy hot. secondly they made them far too powerful. for fucks sake they amazingly took down a monster over 200 meters in size and stopped uruboros from spreading throughout the globe. Plus they managed to find chris' long lost partner (Jill, who is very hot too 'coincidentally'). I need a main character dead/harmed for a realistic gaming experience.
This Game Is Awesome. Co-Op Makes It Even More Interesting.
Not As Good As The Past Games, But If They Would Have Separated Chris And Sheva And Gone Deep Into Their Storylines Like They Did With Leon And Ashley It Would Be Stellar.
RE5 Co-op ruined the series.... there's no vulnerability like sheva always comes to save you....its more about beating the shit out of the same couple of zombies over and over and over..at least in RE4 the zombies were fuckin scary and you had to watch out for your ammo ...way to go Capcom, way to go -_-
I blame games like COD Halo medal of honer all these games have influced capcom to create re 5 the way it was..Oh well RE5 was built to anser questions for people who have played the series..It doesnt matter because Revelations is going back to the survival horror

@cerilsneer I agree with you (in some points). Why don't you think that the Las Plagas, the Uroboros and the Progenitor infctees aren't zombies. By that logic, so aren't the T-Virus ones. The T-Virus only gets some brain cells back to life, not the all body. GO B.O.W's ; GO UROBOROS WEIRDOS ; GO THAT CUTE LITTLE BUG IN THE TRICELL FACILITIES (I'm kidding, he is huge. @cerilsneer Nah they arent zombies in Resident evil 4 and 5, not at all. Las plagas isnt even a virus its a parasite that can embed itself onto a host and control its actions. In Resident evil 5 the crazy locals are controlled by las plagas still but after that you discover the existence of the progenitor virus which is from a highly toxic plant. If the virus is compatible with the subjects DNA itl give him superhuman abilities, Later on ingame wesker used this to make the Uroboros virus.
@cerilsneer The Uroboros virus is kind of a mixture of alot of viruses. Only a few people in the world are immune to it and will gain superhuman abilities if infected with it (the virus will bind with their DNA), But most humans arent immune and will get consumed by the virus and basicaly become somekinda tentacle monster with no intelligence ,that just wants to eat any organic thing near it. The true zombies in Resident evil are the people infected with the T-virus (tyrant) seen in Res1/2/3.
Compared to RE5's early trailers, RE5 was a huge dissapointmet. Those trailers actually looks kinda scary, being outnumbered by so many enemies. And what happened to Chris ducking attacks from people? Who ever at CAPCOM though of using coop in an RE game should have been fired. I have no problems with RE4. (I believe RE2/RE4 were the best in the series) If RE5 game had been more like those trailers, I'm pretty sure I would like this game a lot more.
this trailer makes the game look epic, but when the final version of the game when it was released it was an epic suck. This game would have been better without coop and this is not a Resident Evil game. Re4 was better than this crap, because at least RE4 had it's moments as a horror game.
@SaturdayNightsME Yeah i like the whole idea of the Progenitor virus and the Uroboros but the gameplay for the game just wasnt resident evil at all, it was more of an action shoot em up game rather than survival horror. Hell even Res 4 was kind of an action game and was just too easy compared to Res 1/2/3. Speaking of scary momments, best one for me would be in Res3 when nemesis is chasing you haha, always made me jump when he appeard out of nower or busting in a window.

The reason people didn't like RE5 was how much its style had changed, fans accepted it with RE4 (it had it moments as a horror game ), but when they saw this one, they have losed faith and thought the series would stay with this Action "Shoot from the hip" gameplay. (WITHOUT zombies too!)
Re5 is the only RE game I can call bad. And I'm a big time RE nerd. Not a afraid to admit it

If you do not enjoy Resident Evil 5 because it isn't 'scary' enough for you, then you obviously don't see a great game when it stares you in the face. Resident evil 5 was amazing, it may have not been too scary, but regardless, amazing!

@Pwnagener Yeah, you are right there, i mean first CoD was amazing and it had very long singleplayer but new CoD (like CoD MW2) is good too, but its damn too short (6 or 5 hours to complete SP, and MP if i heard right. i haven't really played multyplayer, isn't really good). Well i like graphich in these new games and i would like if they could keep it that way, but gameplay in, like you told 900 from 1000 games stinks, or it's too short, well 97% games that i played are good but you are right.

they ruined the Resident Evil series , with gameplay with partner, this addition to make the game very easily pulled out all the challenge of surviving alone.
smart zombies using guns removed all the suspense .. the older games had more suspense than this.
the game would be better if you should be alone , with these melee attacks (which I like very much), with idiots and hungry zombies and things that give more fear . the history are good , only the gameplay is bad...
To be honest, i was surprised at everyone crying about the controls on resident evil 5... i expected it to play more or less the same as 4, and was ok with that. For me, it's one of the best games this generation.

@steven8807 There is one thing called "evolution". Personally, RE5 is my second favourite game in the series, after RE3. The game follows a storyline. People would get sick if all Resident Evil games whore the same "outfit" of horror zombies in a palace. Besides, the story would get boring. This game is in 2009. Only Umbrella was stupid enough to put a secret lab entrance beneath a mansion.

Some people spazing out cos it ain't like the old games but to be fair you'd have people complaining there all the same if they did that. Also the game ain't racist it's set in africa for fucks sake of course the infected are gonna be black!. It would be more racist if it was ste in africa and there were no black people in the game. Maybe for the nest game they could go back and do a zombie game though.

@cerilsneer I agree with you (in some points). Why don't you think that the Las Plagas, the Uroboros and the Progenitor infctees aren't zombies. By that logic, so aren't the T-Virus ones. The T-Virus only gets some brain cells back to life, not the all body. GO B.O.W's ; GO UROBOROS WEIRDOS ; GO THAT CUTE LITTLE BUG IN THE TRICELL FACILITIES (I'm kidding, he is huge. A little bit like the Eiffel Tower)

@fixepa1 Yeah they are zombies but i meant the more traditional RE zombie i guess. Las Plagas infected are still alive just in a zombie state T-virus kills then reanimates the infected

@cerilsneer Nah they arent zombies in Resident evil 4 and 5, not at all. Las plagas isnt even a virus its a parasite that can embed itself onto a host and control its actions. In Resident evil 5 the crazy locals are controlled by las plagas still but after that you discover the existence of the progenitor virus which is from a highly toxic plant. If the virus is compatible with the subjects DNA itl give him superhuman abilities, Later on ingame wesker used this to make the Uroboros virus.

@cerilsneer The Uroboros virus is kind of a mixture of alot of viruses. Only a few people in the world are immune to it and will gain superhuman abilities if infected with it (the virus will bind with their DNA), But most humans arent immune and will get consumed by the virus and basicaly become somekinda tentacle monster with no intelligence ,that just wants to eat any organic thing near it. The true zombies in Resident evil are the people infected with the T-virus (tyrant) seen in Res1/2/3.

Compared to RE5's early trailers, RE5 was a huge dissapointmet. Those trailers actually looks kinda scary, being outnumbered by so many enemies. And what happened to Chris ducking attacks from people? Who ever at CAPCOM though of using coop in an RE game should have been fired. I have no problems with RE4. (I believe RE2/RE4 were the best in the series) If RE5 game had been more like those trailers, I'm pretty sure I would like this game a lot more.

this trailer makes the game look epic, but when the final version of the game when it was released it was an epic suck. This game would have been better without coop and this is not a Resident Evil game. Re4 was better than this crap, because at least RE4 had it's moments as a horror game.

@SaturdayNightsME Yeah i like the whole idea of the Progenitor virus and the Uroboros but the gameplay for the game just wasnt resident evil at all, it was more of an action shoot em up game rather than survival horror. Hell even Res 4 was kind of an action game and was just too easy compared to Res 1/2/3. Speaking of scary momments, best one for me would be in Res3 when nemesis is chasing you haha, always made me jump when he appeard out of nower or busting in a window.

The reason people didn't like RE5 was how much its style had changed, fans accepted it with RE4 (it had it moments as a horror game ), but when they saw this one, they have losed faith and thought the series would stay with this Action "Shoot from the hip" gameplay. (WITHOUT zombies too!)
Re5 is the only RE game I can call bad. And I'm a big time RE nerd. Not a afraid to admit it

If you do not enjoy Resident Evil 5 because it isn't 'scary' enough for you, then you obviously don't see a great game when it stares you in the face. Resident evil 5 was amazing, it may have not been too scary, but regardless, amazing!

@Pwnagener wtf are you talking about??? Do you have lame comp. or something??? Have you even played new games with awsome graphich and gameplays (Assassin's Creed II, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Far Cry 2, Mass Effect 2....). I really hate Resident Evil 5 cuz of lamest gameplay (pc version), but don't talk like that to all games, i mean battlefield bad company 2 is best fps i know (from battlefield and other fps series). Graphich make game "look" good but "gameplay makes game good".

@danilovic97 ah yes hello to you too!As usually everything begins with "do u have a lame pc"...no mate i don't.Of course there are some good games also out there(the one you mentioned except mass effect 2 which fails badly).Also some examples might be Company of heroes,Portal,GTA,Nfs Shift and some more.But we have lets say 100 good from 1000.Back in the days we had 800 good of 1000:).Also did u noticed that most games except for MP take 8-10 hrs only?And yes i prefer gameplay over graphichs!

@Pwnagener Yeah, you are right there, i mean first CoD was amazing and it had very long singleplayer but new CoD (like CoD MW2) is good too, but its damn too short (6 or 5 hours to complete SP, and MP if i heard right. i haven't really played multyplayer, isn't really good). Well i like graphich in these new games and i would like if they could keep it that way, but gameplay in, like you told 900 from 1000 games stinks, or it's too short, well 97% games that i played are good but you are right.

they ruined the Resident Evil series , with gameplay with partner, this addition to make the game very easily pulled out all the challenge of surviving alone.
smart zombies using guns removed all the suspense .. the older games had more suspense than this.
the game would be better if you should be alone , with these melee attacks (which I like very much), with idiots and hungry zombies and things that give more fear . the history are good , only the gameplay is bad...

To be honest, i was surprised at everyone crying about the controls on resident evil 5... i expected it to play more or less the same as 4, and was ok with that. For me, it's one of the best games this generation.

@steven8807 There is one thing called "evolution". Personally, RE5 is my second favourite game in the series, after RE3. The game follows a storyline. People would get sick if all Resident Evil games whore the same "outfit" of horror zombies in a palace. Besides, the story would get boring. This game is in 2009. Only Umbrella was stupid enough to put a secret lab entrance beneath a mansion.
