@123msanchez why do you find him annoying? If the tension between their relationship was not existent or present , the film would have no evolving story. He is playing a complex character- it's not Paul who's "annoying" you- it's the decisions in the film and the actions and character complications etc. I get what you mean tho- I JUST WANT HIM TO SUCCUMB TO HIS AND MAGGIE'S LOVE!! XD But the rollercoaster in getting to that destination is what makes the conflicting passions worthwhile!

@callyp04 Two of the greatest actors together in a classic movie. They don't make them like this anymore. When you see movies like this you realize what real acting is.
This just shows that Newman is a truly great actor for denying Taylor's advances
