I think that's normal for polydactyles.

I own two cats currently and have owned several in my life, and all of my cats have executed many complicated strategies to get at things. This cat merely wants into the bottle. Its coat and eyes look healthy and it is exuding the curiosity of a normal healthy cat. Many of us youtube users would appreciate some intelligence and thought behind the responses posted on the site.

Actually, I think the kitty's playing. He's looking into the bottle and trying to get something inside or what he thinks is inside. The moving water may might have tricked the kitty. Just my theory. Fun fact: Cats whiskers are the exact width of their body. This helps prevent a kitty from getting stuck. If a cat enters an opening and the whiskers touch the walls, then he knows that he should back out. The fatter the cat, the bigger the whiskers....Fun video. Thanks.
