  • Let's stop beating around the bush. My first job was as a "shift manager" at Avis LAX. There are tons of times when people reserve cars well in advance and are told "sorry, we don't have the one you reserved but...bla, bla, bla" All because the company is very greedy and overbook. And its very stupid how rental agents are forced to offer optional services to customers over and over again even after the customer says "no"...the customer has to keep saying no, no, no...agents sound like robots LOL
