I dont know how much pain Snake felt when he had to deliver the final shot that killed her. He mustv'e hated himself for it throughout his life.

It makes me cry when i replay the Boss final battle. The bit where you have to finish her off hit home for me, considering she was probably the best female character in all of gaming, she's not a stereotypical female at all. So having to kill her at the end becomes extra poignant. :'(

It sucks how she died...Instead of remembering her as a Hero who once saved the world, ppl saw her as the enemy after Snake Eater all thanks to the Government. Too bad Zero and Big Boss got The Boss' vision all Wrong and endep up creating a "monster" that only harmed the entire world haha. God I love when games give you control for stuff like this rather than just a cut scene. It really makes you live in the moment. I know when I did this on my playthrough, I waited a good 5 minutes or so before I finally accepted there was no other way to continue.

Another good example of what I mean is in Crisis Core when you're allowed to fight until you die against a never ending spawn of enemies.

i found out by other fans and some interview done by the folks behind Metal Gear didnt allow Naked Snake to kill her, she fought all she could against him. it is just they made Naked Snake better than her just like they made him better than the other masters in the game.

Do the game without being seen. I've done it on normal, so anyone can do it. Just don't use any continues...if you get seen, quit and reload. It takes a while but it gets done eventually.

That said, I hardly used the stealth except for fun. Like placing C4 on people...

I do this a little easier. I fight her straight up. Then, when I know her down, I take the big machine gun and shoot her. This takes a lot of health. Eventually, she gets up. When she does, she'll run. When she comes back, follow the same steps! Sometimes, she might beat you and take your weapon. Still, this is a good way to beat her.

Sesshomarurules already pointed it out but she's not his mother but she is Ocelots mother. Not very sporting to use stealth in this battle though. I normaly just use the knife to beat her. Just run up using the trees as cover and when she tries to CQC you counter and then knife her. It makes for an interesting match if you do it that way.
