  • yeah of corse it would blow those celestions depending on how its wired odds are there paired up to only run at 80 watts, but they sound awesome... personally i dont see why anyone needs to go that loud though

  • Hello. Could you please message me how to program the wah so that I can use the j12 to control it? The manual does not make sense and I cant seem to figure it out. I even called Harmon and their instructions didnt work either. Please help me! thanks a ton.

  • I had problems when I gigged with this amp. The pedalboard always started crapping out. Good sound though if you can't afford individual heads (which I eventually did). Saving up for a Bogner Uberschall now.

  • @EricL5150 I have this amp, just bought it off my teacher I didn't have those problems it was probably just this one. The amp yeah isn't going to give you the dead on sound of the tubes but it can get pretty damn close lol. I have played all the amps that have been programmed into this amp and I actually prefer this over them for the reason there is more control of things like noise gates and so on. This does require a lot more free time though but I play tons of metal and classical stuff.

  • I want to buy this amp... i mean i need this amp!!!

Anyone willing to sell their amp and ship it to South Africa, let me know :)

  • I have a '78 Twin, Vetta, and JM-150, was gonna cash them all in and get the Line 6 DT50. I hadn't used the JM in 2 years but after seeing your vids I fired it up and heard the real difference between it and the Vetta. The DT50 pops and punches the speakers when changeing models, for $1500 I wouldn;t trust it not to self destruct. I'm a big Belew fan and saw him play thru JM's for years. Now he 's gone Fractal, which are nice but pricey. So its time to get back to the ol JM150/Twin pairing. Peace

  • hi. i have a jm-150, but it doesn't have the green lcd panel like yours. what is the difference btwn the 2. any advantages or things yours does that mine doesn't do? thanx 4 posting.

  • I have the millenium 250,,,I have used it for hundreds of gigs. Almost every sound guy compliments my tone. This thing blows away every Line 6 they make today, nothing comes even close! Can't belive they stopped production.

  • Hands down one of the best amps made! Johnson was actually of course Digitech. Named after John Johnson the founder of DOD and Digitech. I too am surprised they never came up with a follow-up to this amp. With the processing power they have knowadays, they should be able to make an improved version of this thing

  • My uncle recently moved and gave me his old JM250 amp and 2 cabinets, and i can't find any videos of that on youtube. Does that mean its more rare than this one? please reply

  • @RCT3crazed44 the JM-250 is the "head" version of this same amp. They operate in the exact same way, with the same operating system and functions. The difference is power. The JM-250 is of course, 250 watts. My JM-150 can make that 4x12 cabinet you see in the video blow wind... so I can only imagine the power your JM-250 would have. That's probably why they made it - so it could be used in a stack and drive TWO 4x12 cabinets !

  • @RCT3crazed44 This particular amp was pricey for a garage band and lacking somewhat in the modeling for the equipment it was supposed to replace for people that have the money to buy every rack mount gadget available. That's why Johnson went under. It is a real beauty to receive and your uncle must be one hell of a nice guy. They're no longer in production so take good care of it.... and, for crying out loud; you have a sweet set up so practice hard and do something with it.

  • @fishguru73 Thank you. i love the amp and i play guitar on it every day

  • mark tremonti from alter bridge uses these amps for practice before gigs

  • Thanks for the vid!!!

I just purchased the exact amp and board at a "vintage" guitar shop for $450.00

It did NOT come with a manual, so your video was very helpful.

Could you post another video explaning hoe to asign a preset sound to the footboard? I would like to use five different presets that can be asigned to the five foot switches on the footboard.

    Thanks alot.

    Tim
