  • @gibsy15 It's a beat off a big noyd cd I know that.....name isn't coming to my mind.

  • this dudes fire!!!!

  • Ha! never knew Royce took someone else's beat for "Malcolm X"

  • Is Alchemist a sample Producer?

  • @Calle34 what is a sample producer?

  • I think he means a producer who juse other songs ( and that could be from any singer/band whatever) and use that song, to make a beat, he use the song for kind of a ''inspiration'' for making a beat, like if he hear a song on the radio with a ..''special'' sound, that he thinks... hmm that's a nice sound, im going to make a hiphop beat from it, sorry for my bad english haha, but i think you'll understand what i mean, and what (for my idea Calle34 also ment). @carnalhiphop

  • @vangilst i think i understand but alchemist is more than a "sample producer", thanks for the answer. pd: my english is bad too, i speak spanish.

  • whats the name of the third track?

  • The ALC!

one of the best beat producer!

  • ACL is the hardest I swear

  • damn all these beats are straight fire!

  • @Magic11555 Yep, because Al is a disciple of Preem and DJ Muggs. He knows how to do soul beats, gritty beats, and classic boom bap. ALC made me believe in middle school that I could make it in hip-hop.

  • tats crazy i thought muggs made latin thugs...well sure i believe alchemist made it since muggs tought this cat

  • whats the 6th beat???

  • DJ PYRO TARES SHIT UP NOT QUITE AS HARD

  • ANYONE GOT A TRACK FOR FIRST BEAT?

  • It's Bang Bang.. Capone and Norega off of The Reunion

  • all his beats are goldin!

  • Why does the Different Worlds beat sound different from the one on the First Infantry cd?

  • @jordan3649 Different Worlds came out a year or two before 1st Infantry with different lyrics and a different beat on a Fatbeats Vinyl. You can download it on iTunes off the "Fatbeats, Vol. 2" album. The artist tag is Alchemist.

  • that beat at 7:53 is fucken sick!

  • ANYONE KNOW WHAT 5 IS ?????

  • number 24 is by mobb deep "its alright" not nas

  • Yea it is its pretty much the same beat the son is called tick tock by nas and prodigy

  • number 27 is crack

  • the first beat is bananas

  • yo whats the second beat called?...that shits FIRE!!

  • damn i wonder did dre sample jack alchemist #28

  • I thought Havoc spit on a different fall back beat

  • cypress hill - latin thugs

  • name of song 8:06 to 8:57

  • are you fucking kidding me ?

  • its crazy dude if you put one of these beats and say its a dilla beat (similar sounding sometimes) ppl would be going crazy over it... OB4CL2 is ridiculous the best song is an alchemist beat which is ridiculous... fucking blew my mind...... but my point is dillas name sometimes is distracting from some good production

  • thats some true bullshit you speak right there son

dillas hard snapping drums and basslines always makes it recognizable

I aint saying all of dillas beat was equally hard but he is the G.O.A.T.

and there is good reasons for that too

  • yeah that surgical gloves was one of the hardest beats on the album

  • i know what your saying, dilla was dope but people tend to over rate him now that he's dead. r.i.p

the only way i can see any resemblance at all is maybe slight similarities on some of the more repetitive tracks. other than that there so many differences. dilla usually found the most difficult samples to work with as far as eq is concerned and usually ended up with a real low quality audio mostly because of that. alc prefers a much cleaner sound( i usually do to)

  • alc samples some soul but doesnt usually go for that soul vibe that dilla almost always had.

as far as sampling skills, dilla was one of the best ever, that man was a sample bloodhound. although a lot of his beats are real hard to rap over. love them both but as far as the finished product is concerned im more of an alc fan, but thats all subjective

  • j dilla is so ridiculously overrated especially on youtube. nobody said SHIT about him until he died. he's not in my top 10 best producers. put him up track for track w/ alchemist....track for track alc eats him up. c'mon now.

  • Yeah Alchemist should be in every1's top ten but dilla is sicker (fuck ur talkin about track 4 track AL would be eaten alive outta hea wit that shit)

  • damn near EVERY alc beat is a certified BANGER! j dilla was on some weird shit- that doesn't make him ill. alc's chops are so much more precise and his sample choices speak for themselves. dilla had some dope drums, but i have several of his albums and there's plenty of filler in there man even some wack shit. like i said i didn't hear shit until he died now all the sudden he's the best.

  • wtf u mean c'mon now?are you trying to argue saying basically the same thing i did? i think he is overated as i said before but not ridiculously. i like alc better but its really all subjective. they both have made tracks that i love and tracks that i cant stand. honestly i think comparing them is like comparing apples and oranges anyways. i was just replying to someone else who said they were similar

  • they have different styles, J dilla is mostly credited because he was a risk taker and he had that natural swing that everyone started biting, plus he made every drum kit unique it wasnt just sample a snare and done

  • Fall back - Havoc

  • Bang Bang, Backwards, Not Sure, Mobb Niggas, Kill It, Louder, Tick Tock, Different World, forgot the name of the last one but i kno B Real & Sen Dog r on it

  • Does somebody know which title for the song at 2:58 to 3:57 and for the last one at 8:57 to 9:56 !???

    Please !!!!!!!!

  • mobb niggaz!! for sure!!

  • what is the very first beat
