In 1990 the USSR grossed a 2.65 trillion dollars GDP.
In 1999, the Russian Federation plummeted to less than 300 billion GDP(under Capitalism for 7 years).
My point is : Soviet Russia took (invaded) these countries without democratic voting whether these countries wanted it or not.
Of course science and all other industries were good etc, etc, etc. BUT it was all just a dream, communism never came, because people did not change and Lenin took the wrong idea (by K. Marx: communism could come in countries which were developed, like Germany, not like Russia after WW2, one of least developed countries).
Why are you so against the USSR influencing and occupying countries?
At the same time that the Soviet Union was occupying these nations, the UK and France occupied India, Africa, and the Middle East.
History isn't over today, so please don't say that it will never come.
