This song is just amazing. God bless the creative team that brought us a masterpiece like Cowboy Bebop. From the story, to the animation, to the music, it was all beautiful.

Surprisingly, for another "space opera" type of show it was pretty damn philosophical. Lots of deep stuff to learn and appreciate about human nature, determination, and love in this series.

Truly deep and touching stuff, and this song is merely one example of how.

@Drumroll418 There was always something to walk away with from each episode, whether the episode was funny(rarely) or deep and sad. Seeing as this was one of the biggest hits in America along with Ghost in the Shell, Big O, etc. I believe a lot of people agree with people like you and me.

I learned how to play this on my Alto Sax. Its easier than it sounds, once you get it.

This is the kind of bluesy tune I aspire to play well. But tone is the hardest part.

Failed? My friend, its hard to play the sax well, and everyone starts horribly at first. I wouldn't say its my defining characteristic, but its something which took a lot of work. Even after I'd gotten my tone generally, this song took me 5 days.. Its probably 6 notes. If its something you really want to do, than you should do it! Its the hard work at first which makes it really soulful later. Don't give up! Keep on trying, and as long as you put your heart into it, it will be good!

My advice is keep your reed wet, and get a leather ligature. Always do it standing up and imagine the German "O" sound (with the little dots on top). Conform your mouth to that... and remember this! You may as well be holding a giant golden dildo in your hands, its the sexiest instrument around! As bad as it sounds, if someone's taking a photo of you, your already a success!
