  • Four giants, a dragon, four Whiterun guards... AND a courier?! Look out guys, we got a badass over here!

  • @mrmaggot6699 Hahaha that courier was pushing it! He was coming strong!

  • LOL Impact is a vital destruction skill, this build is shit this is what happens when you use console commands, your build is dumb.

  • @AbigailxAgonist It's a concept build I made it for to perform a purpose not to make it the best build around. I played this build in its pure form to level 47 (master) and did great with it. But your opinion is duely noted :)

  • cool cool cool chik chik chik

  • Dual casting and impact is essential -_-

  • @FunnyDevo17 Take um if you believe so! =P

  • wow this is actually very helpful...i had no idea restoration would be so important :D

  • @DeeDAsian Can't go wrong! =P

  • Alright I have a request. How about a two-handed heavy armored warrior? :D

  • @Blkmage766 I can try! But those builds tend to be very basic! I'll see if I can't whip up a good one!

  • This is like an battlemage/spellsword.. Spellsword is light armor with mostly magic and battlemage is heavy with some destruction etc

  • @MikeElAngeloMusic Haha I'm well aware =P its a good build who cares what the name is haa

  • @MikeElAngeloMusic Unfortunately you couldn't be more wrong, in that you have them reversed. Spellswords wear heavy armor while Battlemages don't specialize in any one armor in particular. This is defined by Bethesda's previous Elder Scrolls classes.

  • So what if I want to use a bound sword?

  • @1kalii Play a different build -=P but if I had to give a suggestion it would be sacrificing alteration or some of restoration for conjuration

  • i demand an assassin build immediately. what are you doing!?!

  • @TheBlackKatana I am at a place that has terrible internet connection right now! its really hard to upload anything really! takes about 7-8 hours for a 6 minute video xD

  • Wow do you guys even know what a spellsword is first of all spellswords use SHIELD and illusion magic, check the elder scrolls wiki,if you guys had played the elder scrolls 4 Oblivion you would know that spellswords uses shield and illusion magic because in oblivion you could choose classes. This is not a spellsword build its more like a battle mage build as battle mages uses melee or dagger and they wear heavy armour ,uses destruction, alteration and restoration. While spellswords uses shield......

  • @darren0139 and illusion magic which makes them totally a more different class that a battle mage.

  • @darren0139 So all together spellswords uses sword shield, illusion, destruction, restoration, wears heavy armour and uses alteration.Spellswords uses illusion to distract the enemy and destruction to injured them from a distance, uses alteration to increase armour protection, wears heavy armour, switches to shield and sword when attacking using melee and restoration to heal, has good resistance against magic(recommended race: Breton),uses fire cloak, ice cloak and lightning cloak(destruction magic)

  • @darren0139 I was going to name it battle mage but didnt feel like it. Sorry I upset you thanks for the history lesson though :)

  • oh right cool :)

  • what do you think is the best armor for spell sword?

  • @paddybeatty93 i use daedric Never really tested armors xD

  • i think you need to make a more interesting classes more diffrent like thief or something. :)

  • lol idk how many people told you this but... you look a bit like Andy Samberg xD

  • @iClickdotcom Oh very very many! But I wear it as a badge of honor so thank you for honoring me!

  • @MrArfal You too are full of coolness!

  • Also with such a low stamina you are going to struggle to sprint or carry anything besides basic equipment for much of the game until you can acquire a decent carry weight enchant.

  • Personally I find that taking light armour perks works better for a spellsword early in the game because of the light armour you can find in chests with restoration school bonuses. Heavy armour sets in vanilla leveled lists leans towards conjuration/alteration schools.

  • @wecontinue Yeah I suppose I meant to call this build battle mage. I have made a build similar to the one you describe I've made builds for almost everything =P These are just some of the builds I tend to enjoy playing and thought I'd share them with the world :)

but all your points are duly noted I'll be sure to pick my titling more carefully ;)

    -psycho

  • It would be awesome if u recorded sum gameplay with your builds.

  • @TheSourcreammonkey I did on the third one ;) I didn't have the proper software to record it when I first started my builds xD

  • Hey Luke, I have maxed Sneak and Speech. The perfect combination to get into your pants. It won't be rape because I'll make you admit you want it, and you won't have any time to react because I'll come out of nowhere.

What? You said I could say whatever I wanted! ;)

    Gosh. Chin up, buttercup.

    Keep flashing those pearly whites.

  • @firejutsumaster777 Hhaha this is great! please get a bunch of thumbs up for this! ahaha

  • Hey Luke you're sweet.

  • @smash44556677 Hey smash you're pretty boss yourself!

  • how many perk points do you get total before maxing out and not getting anymore? I'm playing on xbox..

  • @orchidofmisery 80 perks! well atleast for the computer! I would assume its the same for both :)

  • @Psychopoweranger thats what i understood from the game guide but I've been reading online and ppl are saying its more around 50. some say the reason is because leveling after 50 takes so long that average of people end up "stuck" around the 50 mark. did u find any truth to that?

  • @orchidofmisery Yeah it gets rather difficult to level after that. The best way to beat that system is to level with all combat type skills and then save skills that are easily grinded for after level 50 =P

but it is still possible if you want to be hard core! But thats why i do level 51 guides now :)

  • @Psychopoweranger do you know if using perks in alteration like mage armor and combining it with the Lord Stone gives the same effect as wearing armor or would armor still be best for protection?

  • @orchidofmisery Yep they do combine! :) but remember that percentages add up differently due to the fact that a percentage is essentially a fraction and adding fractions don't come out as clean as full numbers do! IE 25% + 25% does not equal 50% :)

  • @Psychopoweranger so then actual armor is better than the combination or the mage armor perk and the lord stone?

  • @orchidofmisery Never did the calculations! who knows!

  • @FinishSword max level is actually 81 believe it or not =P so its actually 80 :)

  • Can't decide between breton (25% magic resist) and altmer (+50 magicka from start) for this build. What say you?

  • @Moredhel1983 I like breton for the awesome amount of tankiness you achieve with it! but! if you're looking for an early start on magicka then altmer is for you! I would go breton though ;)

  • How did you get all those perks?

  • @MyJack132 Console commands :)

  • Hey what spells, what armor, and what weapons do u use

  • nice build m8, may i ask what guardian stone you used at the beginning of the game ?

  • @PsedCrew I grab warrior in the beginning =P

  • Okay, I think it's a mistake concentrating on warrior skills first. What you should do is grab the lover stone and work on 4 trees total, and 2 at the same time. For instance, you could work on 1 handed and destruction first, and then got to two others later. The problem with this method is that when you finally switch over to the mage stone, your skill lvl is high and your magic is weak.

  • @Antiks72 The thing about your build that you've explained out is its more so a mage who just happens to carry a sword with him xD I've made a mage build similar to this I just never put it onto youtube =P but your suggestions are still very true none the less!

  • @Psychopoweranger Thanky you this helped me very much for my build

  • @Chansey88ismeinrs No problem! :) Glad I could help!

  • @Psychopoweranger okay, i would suggest not advancing soo much with desreuction, and rather go with conjuration, it helps a lot, specially, when you get twin sould and the dead thraal spells, which allows you to perma summon 2 dead boddys(you can perma raise 2 dead werewolfs too).. SUPREME NECROMANCY

  • @Antiks72 Haha I get it I get it, but I make builds with a purpose in mind. I didn't want conjuration on this guy. I also state in the the video that you don't need to go that far into the destruction tree =P In order to get that kind of conjuration power I'd need to take huge chunks of points to put towards it. Which would no longer make it a spell sword but more along the lines of just a necro haha. but your suggestion is duely noted =P

  • @Psychopoweranger I think you're trying to reply to xXLDeusXx's comment?

  • As a spellsword, can i get light armor instead of heavy amor? pros and cons?

  • @mikaeldepadua You can most certainly get light armor instead. I personally like light armor more than heavy and pick it in almost all circumstances. the reason I made this one the way i did was because I wanted to be the most tanky I could possibly be. The cons to the light armor is you are very very fragile seeing as light armor is the weakest of the the three ways to armor yourself (heavy, light armor, magic) but you will never run into stam problems! =P

  • @Psychopoweranger I see! Thanks very much man. Im planning on getting some alteration spells for armor.. Not really sure. It'll be my first play through anyway; so gotta stick to what I like right? :) Thanks again bro.

  • @mikaeldepadua Yes definitely! These are just guide lines! They are not definite, do what you enjoy! :D

  • this video makes me wish my xbox had console commands :( its gonna take ages to do this through actully playing.

  • @alienraven But actually doing it is the fun part! I just uses the CCs for these videos ;D

  • pause at 0:00 TROLL FACE?

  • @chesseownz Haha I see it!

  • Chuck Norris Dual Wields Bound Swords

  • What about enchanting??? Should I ever need it???

  • @Hpyrr328 You can't go wrong with enchanting! You still have 30 more perk points after doing this build when you level to max which is 81. So you could put points into it at later levels! :D

  • @Psychopoweranger

    Thank you!

  • Does stamina drain faster in heavy armor? Also what spells should I use? Projectile or channeling?

  • @Synergy1898 Yup it does! and ice storm is a must! its the expert skill its so awesome!

  • @Synergy1898 Stamina drains WAY fast in heavy armor. That's another thing I don't like about this build. If you're putting points into Alteration, then you could wear robes and use alteration spells + mage armor perks. If you want to go into heavy armor, I'd up stamina, maybe via a 4/3/3 method.

  • did you get the perks in that way? like first ALL the perks you needed from one-handed and so on.. or did you like pick a perk in one-handed that you want, than a perk in restoration..?

  • @OneOfTheGangstas the latter, what you want to do is prioritize your perks =P i provided a list somewhere in the video showing what you want to prioritize on this build :)

  • @Psychopoweranger k ty man, fav/liked/subbed :P

  • @OneOfTheGangstas I think he's starting this characters off at high level already, so he can build the character all at once.

  • My version of a spellsword, dual cast destruction magic and use a great sword for the kill and have 2 swords in reserve for when the magicka runs out,

  • @haggisandchips1 Right on! Interesting concept indeed! =P

  • @Psychopoweranger

    That.

    Was.

    AWESOME!!!

    :D

  • @MultiHydralisk You best better believe it!

  • Just an advice to don't run out mana early. Start a High elf character cuz of their +50 magicka.

  • @Neutralpointz Yeah I feel ya! but that extra magic isn't too necessary once you get the ball rolling =P

  • @Psychopoweranger I was wondering if you could upload or give a run down of the fighting technique of a spell sword as I'm used to rogue/assassin type builds and have never played a magic based class.

  • @Funkyman6520 That's a good idea! I may do that! I have been slacking on my Skyrim videos so I probably should hit that up for realio!

  • Wait so I become a warrior first and then a Mage ( I really want to be a Mage) what's a respectable amount of magicka for you and is bieng a redgaurd going to help since their very good with one hand

  • @capsparrow100 Any race can be good I just personally think breton is the best for it. around 200 magicka is a good place to start adding in magic with the rest of your combat id say. but dont stop at 200 magicka that's just when you'll be able to use magic more effectively. Though i'm speaking off master. If you are playing a lower difficulty im sure you could start earlier

  • @Psychopoweranger thanks!!!! for your next perk builds can you do a battlemage ?

  • So you're not using any spells at the very beginning? Which stone are you using? Warrior? Lover? Mage?

  • @Antiks72 Nope no spells right off the bat not till you have a more respectable number of magicka! I start with warrior then move to mage when i mix in magic :)

  • @Psychopoweranger makes sense. This is my second attempt.

  • @Antiks72 Good luck! :D haha

  • would it still work if you use light armor?

  • @Hawaiisurfer7 It would definitely still work with light armor :) I didn't test it but you can count on it!

  • @Hawaiisurfer7 If you have any respect to the lore of elder scrolls go heavy. But yeah light works too.

    Spellsword

More nimble and athletic than the sorcerer, and better suited for spell-casting than the knight, their attacks are unpredictable. Students of combat and magic.

  • You look like Andy Samberg. Great build btw, haven't seen much love for my Spellswords.

  • @jwells62225 Haha I do get that quite often though it has dropped off more since I have gotten my hairs cut! spell swords rock so yeah! :D

  • subbed, i been watchin ur vids for a while now, real good!

  • @GuidesOfGuildWars Thanks and Thanks! :) so much appreciated it really is!

  • i thought that spellsword should be using light armor...no? , nice vid i want moar :P

  • @erne57 Yeah I could call it a battle mage! but I've seen some heavy armor spell swords IG soooo I figured I'd call them what the game called them =P you aren't the first to ask ;)

Thanks though I'll be sure to get more out when I can! :D

  • @Psychopoweranger ok ,subbed and waiting for more then :D

  • @erne57 I won't let you down my friend!

  • im using this build but i went enchanting and now have free destruction and healing spells, does this mean I dont have to put perks into expert destruction, or expert restoration?

  • @lestat84 Depends on how expensive the spell of question is =P

  • I've been using this build for my Imperial Spellsword. Incredibly helpful. I actually don't focus on Smithing, I use Enchanting instead.

  • @dbsour That's a fair exchange =P I don't blame you !

  • @Psychopoweranger Would it be good to put three into enchanter instead of going the options you suggested? I wanted to try it but was worried about being mediocre in one perk when I can max another.

  • @SillyWilly22589 I'm not sure! you could try taking something out of somewhere else, 3 points in something is almost never worth it =/

  • Yeah man this is a damn good build. When I played Spellsword I dual wielded swords early to power level One-Handed. I also focus builded Destruction after One-Handed instead of Heavy Armor, but I wouldn't condone it as I had some slight survivability issues due to the lack of tankiness.

  • @SillyWilly22589 Yeah man this build is a winner for sure :) thats an interesting concept about the duel wielding thing though!

  • does frost slow down enemies? I thought it only damages their stamina

  • @aznspryd Yup it also slows them pretty sweet huh? :D

  • @Psychopoweranger really? i tried it but it didn't seem to do much.. maybe cuz i'm still low leveled?

  • @aznspryd That could be it I most definitely does though promise!

  • @Psychopoweranger sounds good! i think i'll give up fire for lightening and ice then. Its much more interesting and i hate blowing up lydia haha

  • I'm pretty sure you can still have 80 perks because I've seen people get to level 81 legit. However, you can not get any more perks after that. e.g. going to jail does not help you level up.

  • @CrazyAlbinoTurkey Yeah you can 80 perks is max, but I decided I like doing level 50 perk builds better seeing as those last 30 points are for hardcore players and they would more than likely already know what they are doing. Thanks for the tip though =P

  • you are going to do more builds?

  • @diasdiascsacsa You bet! I have one ready for release!

  • What a gigantic faggot.

  • @TQCKyle Ooo ouchh..do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

  • @Psychopoweranger Ignore him, the world needs more upbeat people like the Psychopowerranger!

  • @GMan19861 Haha yeah its really not a big deal =P the way I see it..if insulting me makes him feel strong or better about himself then I did my job some how ! :D

  • This is a pretty good build currently using it on my current game.

  • @loyer258 Glad to hear you liked it :) it is a pretty fun build all in all id say!

  • Great build my friend. U know the way of rpg as u focus build early and don't spread yourself thin.

  • @SillyWilly22589 Why thank you :) that is a mighty fine compliment if I do say so myself!

  • hmm...i would have picked everything but alteration. I chose enchanting instead and add magic regen to armor in addition to defense.

  • @IrishKnight89 A wise decision =P definitely worth exploring further! My goal with this build was to be as durable as possible!

  • This video helped me out a ton! Thanks man! Keep doin what you do :D

  • @TheLemonyLime No problem! You got it! :D

  • could u do a video on the 2h, heavy armor, archery, restoration, and sneak build, and possible extra points into smithing we were talking about? and like ur opinion of what to put points into and all. it could be like a straight up 2h ranger build

  • @SpeedyMcQuicksta Haha yes I will when I get the time =P

  • @SpeedyMcQuicksta 2handed is the loudest so it's not too great for sneaking, plus it cant get any of the large multipliers, making the damage boost a moot point. dual wield has a MUCH higher dps anyway. 2handed is crap from sneak characters

  • Can you maybe tell me your opinions on the 3 elements?

I don't know what I want, fire ice or lightning..

Lightning looks cool but Fire is strongest right? And Ice has CC soo can you give me some thoughts on what would be best in what situation?

  • @supadanz I really don't see the appeal of Lightning though i do agree its the coolest looking! But It doesn't seem to do anything else. Ice is my favorite because it makes your enemies very weak I.E. no stamina. Fire is nice to have also for ice immunes and damage over time :)

  • @Psychopoweranger lightning drains mana and the disintegrate perk turns an enemy to ash if theyre below 25% health i believe. disintegrate levels it out quite a bit imo, otherwise the most useless. but if u hit a mage hard enough to drain their mana they'll just try knifing u which is pretty useful

  • @SoCalAries Ahhh thanks for the tip ill keep this in mind when I make builds! will be really helpful on high health enemies and mages =P

I have another on the way just need to upload it thanks for watching :)

thanks for the tips though for sure much appreciated!

    -psycho

  • @SoCalAries Sounds good I always give credit where credit is due!

  • Your videos rock

  • @noahmaximus Haha thank you! :D you rock!

  • @Psychopoweranger I'll send you a couple builds via messages. use 'em or tweak 'em if you want. just give me a shout out or something, i dont care for publicity

  • what sneak insted of destruction then?

  • @SpeedyMcQuicksta Yep! :) that would work better =P

  • what's the point of heavy armor for a spellsword? Isn't that more for a battlemage? also People have confirmed you do get perk points after 50

  • @LoryuoFSE Spell Sword, Battle Mage...Po-tay-toe, Po-tah-toe ;)

  • u can get 80 perks, not 50

  • @SoCalAries So I was right!? GRAH! people need to stop tricking me! okay next build will be 80 again!

  • @Psychopoweranger You should still stick with 50 imo, lvl cap is 81 and that's only if you level all your skills to 100 most will only level the standard max of 6 to 6.5 skills level to hit 50. However you could make a vid that shows the standard lvl 50 build and the lvl 81 build and put up annotations so those that want the 50 build can skip to it and vice versa for the 81 build.

  • @x8Phantomb8x Yeah I think this is exactly what I'm going to do =P though I do already have one made so that one is just going to be the level 51 build =P

  • @x8Phantomb8x I agree with this guy, an 81 build isnt exactly something we should be shooting for. a build should be finished in the 50's or 60's for most intents and purposes. You can still give suggestions for late game, but a build shouldnt initially be stretched that thin.

  • @Psychopoweranger subbed, this build was good & looking forward to more

  • thanks show every one my build lol

  • @nolab143691 My bad! :) now we can share! :D

  • Well maybe I guess that is a lot. I would focus on heavy armor, 2h, archery, and some restoration cause u have no block really u know. If u have extra points I would first put them into smithing, then if u still have some left I'd either go with destruction or sneak (sneak to benefit ur archery) (destruction to give u a little more option for ur magic other than restoration) maybe that's a bit better. What do u think of that instead?

  • @SpeedyMcQuicksta Yeah, the destruction is a bit much but besides that we can make it happen I'll show you what i come up with in one of my videos to come :D

  • ...major ones so u can be effective with some of the basic distraction and restoration spells... (what do u think) unfortunately idk exact numbers and perks and all yet cause im not there yet, it's just what I have in mind.

  • @SpeedyMcQuicksta That's a lot to do, it would definitely work on medium dificulty but it runs the risk of dying in masterful! =P its a good idea ill make a video on it if I can find it out! :D

  • U know like, to put most points into heavy armor and 2h weapons. Then go into archery, then go some into distruction like dual casting and some other major ones so u can be effecti. Then I would put some into restoration just in case cause with 2h u don't have much block, and smithing. I would have a lot of health, then stamina and then magicka.

  • @SpeedyMcQuicksta when i look at a build w/ destruction & archery & melee, I think "why?" typically you're only gonna want one source of ranged damage. you're spreading yourself way too thin. that build just isnt viable on master

  • U should do a build on 2h primary with some archery and a little magic both. Kinda like a straight up ranger. But more BA

  • If I were to do all these except switch out Heavy Armor with Light Armor and then work in my Sneaking and Pick-Pocketing. I think I might be able to pull this off if I can avoid fights and run away easier. (also, I'm getting a Dark Elf, I think they're cool) Great video by the way!

  • @K33pItGHOST Great news for you I am making a build video on a Cloak and Dagger class that focuses on Illusion it is SOO much fun :)
