One of Hip Hop's founders said they choose to use rap as their music (I saw Afrika Bambaataa say this). Hip Hop is a religion, that's why they have those shirts that say "I am Hip Hop" and we know you can't be music
He broke it down very well the world doesn't own hip-hop and as Christian we are suppose to come in and take back what's God including music. Someone is always going to find a way to bring down what you are doing for God but as long as we keep our faith in Him their words and action won't affect us.
