This is one of the funniest and heart warming clips Ive seen for a while. America's puppet regime and their troops defeated in battle and handing over their guns to Al-Sadrs forces who then proceed to forgive them. Priceless. Loved the guys statement about rejecting the foreign occupiers and their agents as well. Iraq was a secular country under Saddam until the Yanks rolled into town. But that particular genie is definetly out of the bottle now. What I find amusing is that the Badr Brigade (which is basically the puppet Iraqi army) was trained and funded by Iran, and the US has been using them to undermine the Mehdi Army. So basically Iran & the US are cooperating against Iraqi nationalists.

To be rid of foreign domination and to determine their own future. The current govt is in the pockets of foreigners who wish to exploit Iraq (I include the US, Britain, Iran and some smaller nations in this group) for their own ends. Thus they cannot be described as nationalists in my opinion.

Yes but most Iraqis want friendly relations with Iran because they are linked religiously. However, they also do not want to be exploited by Iran. If the US had wanted to hold back Iran, then they shouldnt have toppled Saddam, cos him and his Sunni tribesmen resisted Iran intensely.

I am one who believes we did the right thing to take out Saddam. For a multitude of reasons, not the least of which was that we were maybe the only one who COULD do it.
No one said it would be easy. It was easy to depose Saddam, but the rest of the story still unfolds.
Either we have the will and the manpower and money to continue, or we don't. We will either win or lose. If Iran ascends, it will be at the cost of millions of lives and economic disorder around the world.

I have been monitoring Iran closely, and they are a scary bunch. The leaders there are completely wacko. Ahmadinejad claims that the 12th Imam speaks to him and guides him. That guy is not opposed to a holocaust since it clears the way for their 2nd coming.
Irans nuclear program is all about weapons. That's it, and they would toast Israel.

The people who really matter in this country where Iran is concerned are way ahead of us. We will take out the Ayatollahs and Ahmadinejad.
We will shut down the gasoline refinery there (they only have one). We will take out all the nuclear facilities we can find. We may take out a few large dams to cripple electrical power generation. We will tell the people when and what to avoid there. The man on the street is not our enemy in Iran.

I think so too but wonder why no action as yet. Sources state that it would occur on April 6, and reports of impending action have been floated since 04.
I know that gas is being rationed there, and sanctions are having effects. The recent exit of the Finance and Interior ministers are examples. Even China & Russia are concerned about the posturing and weapons programs.
I suspect that waiting until the last moment to see sanction efficacy is the issue.

Most of what you say is false, and you know it. America recognizes and credits many places on earth whose government is run as a democracy.
Please give me a link to the largest prison population on earth. In some countries the entire population is in prison. Such as Iran. Such as North Korea. Such as Cuba. Out prisoners are better taken care of than most people on the planet. Most are in temporarily.
