I bought one of these and it was awful - cool spots, hot spots, and the nonstick coating started to bubble and come off after 3 months. I then bought a Cuisinart Griddler and have been much happier with it- even heating, the nonstick surface is tough, and it gets really hot. I'd go for the Cuisinart anyday.
