i was working out in italy left after the snow cleared in britain the weather out there was a lot worse we had 2 ft in a night it was legend i was there on the ski runs they owned up with it cervinia FTW
'snow is VERY rare in most of britain'? theres never been a year it hasnt snowed where i live and we got 4 feet drifts in queensbury west yorks this year!! :)
it depends where you live. Most parts of Britain have very rarely seen snow like this since around 2003/4 although other parts have had it like this every year.
What area's see snow like this every year? I want to know so I can move there, I know it very rarely snows and sticks in london unless it's bad. They've had it bad though this year.

move to sheffield (south yorkshire) not in the city though, we have had snow 3 winters in a row. :)

@sutty6 yes, you're right. I live in Buckinghamshire and it snow every winter ,this one was special because it lasted so long.
