And this wasn't even one of the central songs from the musical. Wow. You could say that Rodgers & Hammerstein (or Hart), even at their worst, were better than many modern composers at their BEST... Why is that?
Did somebody force these dicks to watch this? I don't think so. The song is kick ass, especially when you've got it blasting out your pip-boy on Galaxy News Radio.
@ericc54 Apparently you lead a very sheltered life. I guess you've never listened to Rap music. The adjectives you so innappropriately use are best applied in that venue.
Hey Eric...guess your as corny as Kansas in August for saying such a thang...or maybe as gay as a daisy...Cause we're all as normal as blueberry pie! Just you outa step pal.
I love this song! Grew up watching the film at my Grandma's and this song suddenly popped into my head today even though i haven't seen the film in about 10 years!
Some fab songs in this film - I'm off to look up Younger than Springtime now! My fave song in the whole film! I loved Lieutenant when I was younger!
What voice type was this written for?

I know it's not the fallout 3 version, but still, it's weird that such an innocent song is being used in a game like fallout : )

This doesn't seem like the version used in Fallout 3, though. Any idea by who that is sung?
virtualraptor 3 years ago
i cut a minute or two at the begining of the song because no one would know the song else :)
the song is from a 1949 musical called "South Pacific" and was sung by Mary Martin who played "Nellie Forbush" in the musical.

@nataladass Mitzi Gaynor is singing this!

@nataladass I think you underestimate the number of YouTuve viewers who are over 70, and would indeed recognize the introductory verse.
