@kingdaleclarke I dont know if the training was harder but their life was for sure. Those guys had nothing to eat for days sometimes and would fight anybody for $5. Dempsey said that for a few dollars you could have hit him in a face with a sledgehammer back then. They had iron chins because if they stayed on the canvas and lose they wouldnt get paid= they wouldnt eat. Some bouts were scheduled for a certain number of rounds, some other would finish only with a KO. So u could have 45-r bouts..

But the only good thing that could happen to boxing would be a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight. But as years are passing, the chances are decreasing. I dont think we will see ever see it.
