@djmosaic do keep in mind that different thili brands do make it sound different i had an aw and sons thili on my nagi and it didn`t sound that good so i changed it too a gbc and it sounded great again and don`t forget to oil the inside of your dhol every 6 months cuz even with the gbc the sound got bad but not as bad as the previous thili i had on it so i oiled it from the inside with just 1 coat on the inside let it dry for a whole day and then put the thili back on and tightened it

@monikhushalpuri all my dhols have GBC and 3 of them have Masala in em.. every shell has its own sound, the two jas ive experienced sounded like average..

because the dhols in india they dnt use a spanner to tune their treble side they use the way we use to tune our dagga side here in the uk and his belt is atached to one of the string of his dhol so when he moves its changes pitch hope this helped
