There's only an ad before the episode begins and at the middle scene. It's not like it's it every 5-10 minutes, so quit complaining.
This won't be the first scene in Code Geass that I cried over; the scene with Kallen and her mother was very emotional. I did a review of this anime and said it was one of the only shows that have drawn me emotionally to watch it again and again. The portrayal of said emotion only adds to the experience.

He's just oppressing the current power situation. He'll be just as bad later on. I suppose it is the reasons for his actions that are important.
Do you know why anime is so popular and critically acclaimed? It is because it is art. If they censored things and excluded things, it would just be a cartoon. If you feel anime is inappropriate for your children, don't let them watch it! It's as simple as that. Let the rest of us enjoy it. Code Geass is particularly brilliant!

Oh my goodness people. You all have to learn that Japan is a different country, and doesn't have the censorship standards that North America does. It's as simple as that. They're much more comfortable with nudity, sex, and the human body, and they use it in their entertainment in often comedic ways. Get used to it!

I think you're forgetting just how easy it is to "Push" to hard; the only way to keep a child off of things like Code Geass, is to NOT have Internet, but even then, all you need is a working W-Lan drive and you can use someone elses Internet (This is how I get online most of the time) so you also have to make sure any computer the child has access to doesn't have a W-lan Drive, but most parents don't know how to take a drive off of a Computer, and W-lan is standard on ALL Laptops

Oh my goodness people. You all have to learn that Japan is a different country, and doesn't have the censorship standards that North America does. It's as simple as that. They're much more comfortable with nudity, sex, and the human body, and they use it in their entertainment in often comedic ways. Get used to it!

I think you're forgetting just how easy it is to "Push" to hard; the only way to keep a child off of things like Code Geass, is to NOT have Internet, but even then, all you need is a working W-Lan drive and you can use someone elses Internet (This is how I get online most of the time) so you also have to make sure any computer the child has access to doesn't have a W-lan Drive, but most parents don't know how to take a drive off of a Computer, and W-lan is standard on ALL Laptops

^^As well as most (If not all) desktops, and most parents aren't tech savvy enough to know that you can use someone elses Internet, my Mom is pretty savvy with computers and she didn't know, but what about friends? If a friend lets the child online, then it's impossible to monitor children, so then what? Don't let them go to a friends house? Go with them to a friends house? You have to balance everything out, or else you end up driving away a wedge between the parent and the child, and then

^^the blame on the parent, remember: choice, the child still chooses to watch, they take at least some of the blame, education is what it all comes down to, teach the kid as early, and you don't get people going "Fuck she's a table humper" or "Holy crap, what is wrong with this show?" She's doing exactly what you think it is. It definitely puts into place Nina's obsession for Euphy and sets up for a lot of what happens later, especially in the second season. But even still, it feels out of place when put in comparison with the rest of the series.
