I think it's hard, and unfortunate when a new guitarist enters a band. More than any other instrument, guitarists are more critical and just plain mean about eachother's playing. Of course Elias can't play Jani's songs as well as the composer himself.. but that doesn't make him any less than Jani. you might perfer Jani's style of playing, but that doesnt automatically make Elias completely suck. Give him some slack. He does the best he can and its not his fault Jani left

I'm so sorry to say this but SA is really not as great as what it used to be...

Elias' playing is really sloppy and dirty here, and it seems that Tommy can't handle the sets anymore. listen to 1:55 : He is one quaver behind, and he seems to suffer...

Henkka played OK in this video though. But I have to say he is really far to be as good as Mikko Härkin and most of his live solos suck.

For me, Only Tony Kakko is still as good or maybe even better than before.

Have you heard Jani's early years? the Middle solo from Succesor for this song is sloppy and unaccurated. Elias was only 2 years old in the band in this video. Jani was 4 Years old when the EP Succesor was recorded.

@TrapnestShinigami OK, now check the intro and the solo that Jani played in the concert in Hiroshima that you quoted (because yes, I've seen it many times). Jani's intro was perfectly clean (unlike Elias') and his solos were perfect. Indeed, Henkka mostly played OK in this concert, but I remember that his solo on blank file was terrible. And if you listen to the whole "For the sake of Revenge" concert, you'll understand what I mean. And yes, Marko plays the bass. Cool for him. He does his job.

Well, can't say that we're all that quiet :) At the recent concert in Budapest, Hungary, Tony had serious throat and vocal chord problems (they even had to call the next 3 gigs, tho fortunately he recovered quick), he basically didn't sing 2/3 of the songs, and was quite satisfided with us screaming the whole stuff :D Can't forget that reverse Fullmoon, Tony took care of the "Run away!" and we did the rest, didn't hear him sing the chorus part live yet :)
