This spot you say is a UFO appears to remain stationary because of the viewers perspective and distance from the explosion. If you actually view the explosion from the KSC launch site, you will see this "UFO" is falling at the same rate as other debris. Try reading actual reports and technical data on this before criticizing others research.

View the NASA footage of the launch which is much closer and at a different angle, and you will see the same "UFO" falling with the other debris. Again, because this footage is farther away from the launch, viewer perspective is greatly skewed and it appears to not fall. Viewed alongside the actual NASA footage, you can see this "thing" fall

Its not a parachute or a ufo dipshit, its just part of the rocket that flew off to the side after the explision. Everyone on the shuttle was killed in this tragedy, nobody was able to escape. They were all either dead or unconsious after the explotion, and were all killed in the impact when it hit the water, RIP challenger crew, you will be deeply missed and i pray for the families of the crew. @DTCProtainment Actually their helmets had internal oxygen supplies that could be manually turned on in case of emergency. It was discovered that 3 of them had been turned on by the astronauts. They wouldn't have done this before the explosion and may well have been awake during the fall. The crew cabin was intact after the explosion and as you said it was the water impact that killed anyone still alive.

Looks like a light that flashes in between 52 and 56, it pauses for a fraction of a second and changes position, still on the left at about 1:06 then moves to the right side and is seen at 1:18. You can really see the gimbal trying to keep the SRB on a stable flight path even after it separated from the main fuel tank.

As for those parachutes at 4:19 and onwards, those were parachutes from Air Force personnel as part of NASA's contingency plan to rescue crew members in case of a disaster. Obviously not much could be done, but that's an example of why NASA is still the best at what they do even in the face of tragedy.
