I just got the dvd's last Tuesday, I'm giving the steroid injection I had yesterday for tennis elbow a chance to take effect and going to start on Monday. Think I'm pretty much where you started out from, so hopefully my results should be good
The editing is fairly awesome! Congratulations to you, and thanks to you for your willingness to share both your struggle and success. Physical upkeep (and beyond) is an ongoing battle and it's always difficult to maintain. Glad to see a fascinating journey in an inspirational piece.
@MrPrestonWeezer lol! yes, yoga is hard, but it is well worth the effort. It is so important so stay flexible and in control of your body. Keep up up man!
@Soldier1287 Way to go! That's impressive that you have completed all those programs. I'm sure you are in great shape. I'd really love to have you join my team. With all you experience I'm sure you could help me, help others! I think nutrition was the key to my success with these programs.
@brinopper Awesome results congrats! I was wondering if you could tell me about how many calories you were having on a daily basis and your height? Just so i can have an idea Im 165 lbs and 5 10 im on my second day of p90x but im a little confused on the calories i need, i dont have much fat to lose but i want to get as ripped as possible. Also, good job on the video it is very motivating.
Dude I wish I looked like you :( I'd get all the chicks If I had your physique. I want to try p90x but what if I don't get those results? It's kinda pricy.
@ericksmellmyfart Let me help you through it. If you are willing to work for it you can get those result, or better. I've helped many people do it. I can also get you discounted pricing on the programs. Email me and I'll help you out.
@ericksmellmyfart , you don't need p90x etc. it's all down to nutrition, exercise and alot of commitment, there's plenty of personal trainers (like me) that offer help for free...
@peterlol21 Keep in touch with me and let me know when you are ready to start. The price of the program is so small compared to the improvement it will make in your life. I can also get you discounted pricing on the program. Send me an email and I'll help you get results.
@Gazzl33t Pull-ups are not necessary, but you can use the door mounted P90X pull-up bar that fits in almost any door frame. If that doesn't work you can modify and use elastic bands.
@Gazzl33t No problem. If you'd like me to help you get through these programs you can make me your coach by clicking the links above. It free and I'll add you to our team FB group with many other going through the program. Also, join me on FB. Cheers!
I commend you for your dedication, I have recently found myself newly motivated, I am a new proud father of a beautiful baby girl, I have found myself on a similar mission, I started INSANITY a week ago and only hope to accomplish what you have done. Very inspirational, thank you for sharing your experience.
@jsstevens10 Thanks! Congratulations on your new baby girl! That's awesome! Keep pushing play everyday and let me know if you have any questions or just need support.
im 20 years old..and in pretty good shape. Definatly better shape than average. I can do a good 25 pull ups no problem. But those pull ups you did at the end I just tried...and omg. That's definatly now joke lol ! Couldnt even manage more than 2 hand rotations. So bravo sir ! Bravo!
@AlfredoTicas I did 90 days of P90X and then 30 days of Insanity The Asylum. I just followed the schedules as published. I do have hybrid workout schedules however if you are interested just send me and email at brian@getrippednation(dot)com.
@kiditsmaug Cool! Glad you found it motivating. Contact me via email at brian@getrippednation,com. I'd like to have you on my team and keep in touch with you through UPT.
@Beach22SC I'd recommend that you do P90X or Insanity before Asylum. Asylum is considered a "graduate" program. If you are already in great shape and fairly athletic you'd probably do just fine with Asylum however.
Can you really get a big chest (pecs) with the P90x? Cos mostly they give you push ups,and i'm not sure but i think that if you want to build size (and definition) you have to lift weights, and do bench press, stuff like that?
@Skinster18 Yes you can build size. Your diet has alot to do with it. Plus you can wear a weight vest to help build mass. I've noticed considerable increase in muscle mass using P90X. Join my team and I'll help you work out a mass gaining plan. Click the link above to make me your coach.
It is my dream to go to the Air force Academy and getting a fighter pilot slot. I've always wanted to be a US Air Force Officer. You don't have to tell me but I would like to know how you could get medically disqualified. I'm doing all these workout programs as well.

@tophu1021 I followed the guidelines in the nutrition guide and Shakeology once per day. I also did a 3 day Shakeology cleanse to break through a plateau.
@brinopper thanks for the offer, but I'll give it a miss for now. Plus, we can't get Shakeology in the UK. I will keep a close eye on your channel though!
@AIROUTSK8STER Nope...not a penny! Just go to my website and click on the "CLICK HERE TO MAKE ME YOUR FREE COACH" in big red letters. That will set you up with a free account and I'll contact you when I see your name pop up on the roster. Also contact me on Facebook and I'll add you to the group.

That is amazing! I just bought p90x from somebody but I only bought the DVDs. Can you please help me out with nutrition? Like a list of great meals to eat each day? What did you eat? Thanks!
Your a real inspiration:o I started p90x today and now I'm happy , I just wanna drop 10 pounds and tone my lower stomach and upper thighs , great job man I'm sure ur son is so proud of you
@XSX1 Thanks! It was just P90X for 90 days and Asylum for 30 days for my 120 day results. Since then I've added Insanity into my hybrid routines. That wording is a little confusing...I should fix that. Thanks for the heads up.
Awesome video! I still have a way to go in my own journey, but these programs are certainly the best tools I've seen to make it happen. I love the "plot" here!
@stefavr6 Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it and you were inspired to workout. Join our team and I'll add you to our FB group with a bunch of others who are motivated also. Great place to ask questions and stay accountable. Hope to see you there!
@PODLL135 Thanks, and Beachbody is not a pyramid scheme. Pyramid schemes are illegal first of all. Second, no products or services are transferred in a pyramid scheme so Beachbody isn't even close to being a pyramid scheme. It's network marketing...big difference. Beachbody trains coaches to be able to provide very valuable support and motivation to those choosing to improve their lives with Beachbody fitness and nutrition products. They are changing lives! They changed mine!
i honestly dont know why those four haters disliked this video, you are an inspiration to everyone You had will power and you had the guts to keep going and it paid off. just one question, what kept you going at the moments when you felt like caving in and giving up?
@96mrluke Thanks! What kept me going...well, I just got to a point where I wasn't happy with my looks or health and set goals to change that. Then I got a Team Beachbody Coach who had been successful and followed his advice. Most importantly, I plugged into workout support groups that helped motivate me and I signed up to become a coach so I could be plugged into thousands of others who were committed to the same goal. Now, as a coach I run my own support group to help others! Join us!

Hey im 17 and i weigh abt 191lbs i need to get under 170lbs does this really helps? Im a student though cant afford to purchase all those equipment...:( i just need help on my eating habits and a lil on training
@hairul20 I went from 195 to 157 in 120 days...so yes it works. And I'm more than twice your age. There isn't much equipment involved. You can do these workouts with just a set of resistance bands and a pullup bar. Check out my website for my nutrition plans and eating tips. Look under "Coach B's Intel", then "Fuel for Success". Make me your coach (free) and I'll be able to spend more time helping you with your nutrition plan.
@cmileyd The Asylum calendar has the P90X/Hybrid routine on it. However, I did P90X for 90 days then Asylum for 30 days to get those results, not a hybrid. I am just starting another round of P90X tomorrow, along with about 120 of my team mates. Join our team and push play with us!
dude your an inspiration i got discharged from the army for a yr due t being to "unfit" and orthapedic inserts in my shoes next year im going back and im gonna do the SF contract Hooah
@ladiezman914 Well, let's get you into the best shape of your life so you can crush the PT test! If you want to join my group of Fitness Warriors I'd love to have you join us! I love having military guys join! Email me or sign up on my website to make me your coach...it's all free!
@WideTie2008 Cool! Glad you were inspired...channel that inspiration into your workouts! Let me know if you want any help or advice. We have a great team of people who have also been inspired and are committing to a healthy lifestyle! I'd love to have you join us!
@streetboxing7493 No, I almost never jog. I get a much better cardio workout doing Insanity or Asylum than I ever could running, and it's alot easier on my joints. I only run when being chased or playing sports. Because of these workouts, I run circles around guys half my age!
@Musicmixer1994 The DVDs cost about $120, the Shakeology costs about $4 per meal, the protein powder cost varies depending on what quality you want to get. The videos and equipment call all be purchased on my website. If interested in a discount send me an email and I'll talk to you about how to get 25% off.
I'm starting P90x pretty soon but the nutrition guide have some recipes I can not eat, for example pork and shrimp what can i substitute for these recipes?
@Gtgyangsta90 To tell you the truth, I never used any of those recipes. I'm putting my food list together and will be emailing it to my team in a few days. If you want to get on that list just go to my website and make me your coach and you'll receive weekly emails, and a LOT more. P90X Challenge is starting on 9/19. Join us!
@peter10195 I was actually terrible at jump rope at first. I'd pretend to jump rope, without the rope during the workout sometimes, and then practice with the rope afterwards. You get better quickly!

Great job, but beachbody is a pyramid scheme.
PODLL135 4 months ago

96mrluke 5 months ago
@96mrluke Thanks! What kept me going...well, I just got to a point where I wasn't happy with my looks or health and set goals to change that. Then I got a Team Beachbody Coach who had been successful and followed his advice. Most importantly, I plugged into workout support groups that helped motivate me and I signed up to become a coach so I could be plugged into thousands of others who were committed to the same goal. Now, as a coach I run my own support group to help others! Join us!

Hey im 17 and i weigh abt 191lbs i need to get under 170lbs does this really helps? Im a student though cant afford to purchase all those equipment...:( i just need help on my eating habits and a lil on training
hairul20 5 months ago
@hairul20 I went from 195 to 157 in 120 days...so yes it works. And I'm more than twice your age. There isn't much equipment involved. You can do these workouts with just a set of resistance bands and a pullup bar. Check out my website for my nutrition plans and eating tips. Look under "Coach B's Intel", then "Fuel for Success". Make me your coach (free) and I'll be able to spend more time helping you with your nutrition plan.

How can I get your P90X/Asylum workout calendar or routine?
I already have the videos and equipment for the two fitness programs. Just need to know how to effectively combine the two programs.
Much appreciated...thanks.
cmileyd 5 months ago
@cmileyd The Asylum calendar has the P90X/Hybrid routine on it. However, I did P90X for 90 days then Asylum for 30 days to get those results, not a hybrid. I am just starting another round of P90X tomorrow, along with about 120 of my team mates. Join our team and push play with us!

Did you jog after every video?
streetboxing7493 5 months ago
@streetboxing7493 No, I almost never jog. I get a much better cardio workout doing Insanity or Asylum than I ever could running, and it's alot easier on my joints. I only run when being chased or playing sports. Because of these workouts, I run circles around guys half my age!
brinopper 5 months ago
wow, you got ripped!
How expensive was it for everything?
The equipment, and protien and stuff?
Musicmixer1994 5 months ago
@Musicmixer1994 The DVDs cost about $120, the Shakeology costs about $4 per meal, the protein powder cost varies depending on what quality you want to get. The videos and equipment call all be purchased on my website. If interested in a discount send me an email and I'll talk to you about how to get 25% off.

@brinopper what if some one sucks at jump rope what do they do, jump in place
peter10195 5 months ago
@peter10195 I was actually terrible at jump rope at first. I'd pretend to jump rope, without the rope during the workout sometimes, and then practice with the rope afterwards. You get better quickly!
