I used SWAC 2.0. I'm running 32-bit Vista. Program did its job and it showed it was spoofed but the orginal MAC address still showed up in the "Active MAC Address" column of SWAC. SWAC "Help" directs the use of "02" for the starting numbers if the spoof doesn't take. Tried the "02" and still no change. I have a Netgear WNDA3100 USB wireless N device. Do some adapters have a way to keep it from spoofing the MAC address? Thanks for great videos and your help.
Thanks for the Tut. Britec. One quick question. If I used Tmac to change my mac address. Do I have to turn on Tmac to run every time the pc is started? Or
The info is kept in the registry even when in reboots?
first of all a MAC Address is six sections in hexadecimal format I'm quite sure it isn't a six byte number and second you can't change your MAC Address you can only spoof a fake one and that can only happen on your own LAN
so...when i open properties on my WIRELESS monitor from the network connections there isn't an option to click on network address although there is a local administration mac network address, is this the same thing just for wireless users?
PUNK this shit doesn't work my device is windows 7 , but if i change my wireless card mac address i won't be able to connect to the internet , there's no way to change it

jesseSager123 2 years ago
so does the mac address you make matter as long as its just as long as the last one?
jesseSager123 2 years ago 4
all you need to do is change 1 or 2 numbers really and that will force a change to your mac address
