@xXglittterwitchXx Actually, it's perfectly fine to cut your hair wet. The only possible problem might be the water weight put on your hair. Since water make your hair look longer, the chances of cutting your hair shorter than intended is quite possible. However, many hairdressers cut hair wet, as well as dampen it if you don't wish to shampoo your hair. In the end, it really just matters what the hairdresser prefers.

Im a professions my self almost every stylist cuts hair wet unless your tweeking Layers or getting rid of Unwanted graduation and also Making sure the balance of the cut is right, Other than that .. Stylists cut hair wet alot of the time. But if you still decide to cut your own hair rember WHILE LOOKING IN THE MIRROR EVERY THING IS REVERSED !! i made that mistake my self whilst i was at school cutting my hair aha. x

I cut my hair...and failed, word of advice: don't cut it too short. And summer break ends in two weeks D: I'll see if I can get extensions or something to fix it up.

@WaffleKitty101 I'm sorry to hear than. I totally feel your pain. When I was 10 I tried cutting my own bangs and failed miserably. I cut it so short, it looked like I was aiming for a mullet. I had to wear one of those cloth headbands for like 2 months to cover it up. Always make sure to leave like a 1 or 2 inch allowance. And then trim it little by little till you get the desired cut. :D Or do the opposite and only cut 1 or 2 inches when you start off, then start trimming.

@SakuraGodess Yeah, I'll do that next time...But it's not that bad. Quickly gets fixed up by pulling it into a ponytail, wearing a headband or do what I'm doing now and just sweep it to the side and secure it with a hairpin. Thanks for the tutorial and I'll make sure to do that next time :D

@6native1gurl2 Actually I wear glasses too. lol. It doesn't really work half the time because my bangs before would go over my glasses and look weird. But it wasn't that bad. I usually used ribbons as a headband to help or curled my hair. If you can getting contacts are a definite good idea. If not you can always work around it.

depends on your face shape but mine is short and i got my fringe cut and it looks great i love it:)

just go for it its only hair it will grow back =) you can always just pin it back till it grows out if you dont like it.

But I usually cut my own hair and my mom does it for me sometimes. Since the style I usually want they hairstylist never knows how to cut it.

So instead of spending money on a messed up hair style. I lose no money and achieve the hairstyle I want.

The thing is about cutting your own bangs and not touching up the layers on the rest of your hair is it doesn't flow unless, you dont have many layers.
