ken, remember to reload as soon as you get out of combat so you've always got a full mag, or else you'll findyour getting caught out hell of a lot, and pace your dmr shots, dont just spam it :P you are getting better though
Around 8:10 you wonder how that dude could just stand there and kill you. It's because you had to reload in the middle of the fight, while he didn't. If you reloaded before you confronted him you would've come out the victor.
ken what helps me out is that after every kill i get i reload so that i have fresh ammo so i have the max amount of amo i can have and i dont need to reload and get killed you might get more kills and less deaths?

Another thing is if you feel a little uncomfortable sniping (I noticed you left the sniper and its a great weapon) play some Sniper-fight on fire fight its helped me a lot and those elites run around like crazy bastards making them great target practice and the grunts are just funny :P you also get loads of space bucks! and for your active camo if u use it a lot ppl will see you less when you don't move when you move it will show you more. if your behind someone don't shoot at him its better to run up to him and assassinate him. and same thing as MrSupify ALWAYS reload even if you used only 1 bullet it might be the finishing one. With the plasma nades use them when someone is right in front of you. take the shotgun as secondary my friend learned how to use that really quickly.
When playing Slayer Pro remember that you don't have a backup weapon so pick up a secondary as you go. I saw a spot where the sniper rifle and the shotgun were just sitting there and you neglected both of them. I know some people are uncomfortable with sniping but the shotgun is a great secondary weapon and easy to use. I think you've got enough of a handle on the mechanics to try and experiment with different guns to see what works best for you. You might be surprised with the results.
Hey Ken I noticed that you you dont always reload after shooting. You have to try and reload as much as you can so you are ready to have another gun fight
Use your nades more, they will help you move around blind corners and things like that. Also, may I suggest recon button layout if you haven't done so already.

Ken, I've been posting this in almost all of your Halo videos, but I guess you never see it. There is NO NEED to use your capture card while playing Halo. If you want to rewatch/record a game, all of your recent games are saved in the theater mode to go back and watch. Please thumbs up so he can see because needlessly recording hours of gameplay at a time is a lot of work/memory to take up his hard drive and the game already does it for you.
There's a simple reason he's ignoring you. The video being on your XBOX's harddrive is useless. The only way he's going to transfer it from Reach's theater to his PC is by spending and ungodly amount of points
@james227uk Nah dude, you misunderstand. What he's doing now is setting up his capture card and recording every game he plays, but the game already does that for you. What he could be doing is just playing without setting up anything and if he likes a game he plays, he can go to theater mode and use his capture card to record the video in theater mode. He wastes a lot of time and storage space in his computer the way he does it.

One bit of advice I can offer is that you should try and reload more often. Especially after killing someone! When you are waiting for your shields to recharge (*cough cough*) take that time to reload your weapon also. It will help!
dude you walked over a sniper, shotgun, and 2 -3 times a plasma launcher dont always look at were your aiming look at the top right hand corner to just in case of good weapons. Also you need to shoot earlier like here 2:47 plus here are all the gun walk overs 2:28 here 2:08 and here 5:42
you need to reload more. for example you KNOW that the DMR takes 5 shots to kill a guy. you never wanna go into a firefight while reloading. after a kill if no one is near you just reload. and want a good dmr. download a map called OCTAGON and 1v1 on it in a custom game
When it was you and another player running towards each other you wouldn't start shooting them until you were very close, if you want to win more often in that situation you should start firing much earlier so you get damage dealt to them before they deal it to you...

You need to work on pacing yourself withthe DMR, right now you're spamming it. That works well when your target is at close to mid range and accuracy isn't as important, but not at longer ranges. Also, crouching while using active camo makes you less visible.
it looks like u dont pay attention to ur hud cause u nvr reload u run around with like 5 or 4 shots and u didnt pick up the health pack so it looks like u dont look at ur hud.

Ken you need to reload your gun more after fights, you have had several times in the video where you only had like 4 rounds left on your DRM and you start a fight reloading your gun, gets your health down alot more than it should be. Also slow your shots down, the longer you take between shots, the more accurate your shots are. When you spam, the spread is huge and very little shots hit. You might also want to try a different class, maybe decoy would work best for you?!?

Jen, you are getting a lot better, and so that is good. You just need to watch your bullets in your clip, you should have reloaded many times in this game and all times you died because you didn't do so. Also, octagon is good if you just want to improve your shot.
Hey Ken. Looks like you are improving at this game :) However, I would suggest watching Hutch's Engineering Win for Halo, as he covers a lot of the important techniques required. Also, run a search for "Octagon" in the file browser and download it, then play a game of Slayer DMR's with somebody. It'll really improve your accuracy with that gun. Some good tips. I always find sticky grenades are much better, try looking for them. Second, SWAT is all about headshots. Play that and your accuracy will become better. Third, even though your doing good, you most of the time always take there sheilds out with your gun. Use grenades then its like 2 shots to kill!
Ken, your little tickle is more like a main weapon. You have your gun! Use it! don't just use you little tickle. Think of it as a knife, when your realoading, and your opponent is close, then you give em a little tickle!
@chadLOL3 Swat may increase your accuracy with 1 headshot shot, but it doesnt help you form a strafe or a decent all around shot. Swat is a terrible representation of actual gameplay, it supports campy gameplay and no teamwork. I honestly think the same of team snipers although it's more skill based.
Just keep playing team dmrs and slayer pro and stuff.

Try to shoot a little slower for better acuratie, but i have heared soms pro's say they rather spam the trigger as some times they get lucky, your chois.
Also stay at a small distance from your foe if you have a DMR or pistel and they have more of a short range weapon like a assalt rifle. You will have a advanted then.
i know everyone is saying this already but when at a distance,lets say 20 feet away or so give it a 1 sec cooldown on dmr and any closer than that spam the trigger. and something i see alot is your not picking up any weapons, always grab the power weapons, i.e the shotgun rockit launcher sniper rifle, even if you dont use make sure no one else uses it.
You seem to pick this up better than MW2. Just please don't take so long making the same mistakes over and over again. Control your shots with the DMR and play more aggressive. Go towards your enemies rather than just keeping your distance. It's just a game, you wont get hurt. And more movie nights. I don't care what video game, Halo or MW2 or anything else. I'm sure many of your fans will appreciate it.

@bustedrims23 in Cod, since it takes only a few bullets to kill someone, you can run around with half a clip. It's just as the Game Informer review of MW2 said; "every reload is a few tense seconds of defenselessness." or something like that.
Adding to that other comment, I see you walking around with half a clip, and you come up to somebody, shoot them, run out and have to reload, and while you are reloading they are shooting you or beating you down.
Start off with a grenade. If someone is running toward you, throw a grenade to injure them, and you can finish them off with less bullets.
The last thing is to strafe. You walk straight at someone shooting them, and they can just headshot you. Instead, jump around or move toward them.
I'm pretty bad at this game, but I know a few tips and tricks that can help me.
First, use an armor ability that is useful. I'm watching your gameplays and I see that you aren't really a camper (Good Job!), and you move around a lot. Active camo doesn't work very well unless you are standing still. Use sprint or jetpack to get around, or armor lock for protection.
Another thing, RELOAD! I play halo and CoD, and after every person I face, or kill, i reload unless I'm in the middle of a fight.
I'm no mlg pro but i've played every halo game to date and i've noticed a few things in your play...
First with the DMR, the first few shots you can spam quickly but then slow down and let the reticule reset for the accurate head shot. Especially when you're far away.
Also try not to run directly towards anyone. Always try to strafe side to side and even jump. Never give them an easy target to headshot.
Try to begin fights with a nade or 2. Nades are never a waste. Toss em like candy.
I'm not a big Halo player, but one thing I noticed was that there was a lot of times where you should have reloaded when u had time to reload. Halo is a game where it takes more than 2-3 shots to kill someone so you need to have a decent amount of bullets in your clip so you can get the kill. If you watch again there were quite a few times where you had 1-4 shots left and ran around without reloading. just something to think about.
Glad to see you are using more than just the AR. For long range shots with the DMR you have to slow down or you won't hit your target for shit. If you would like to get in some practice download a map variant called "The Gym" it helps you practice with grenades, DMR, sniper, standing targets, moving targets, etc. Hope this helps.
Hey I'm am really good at this game if you want more tips tell me but here are some. If you are sniping someone down with any weapon crouch, this is because if u crouch your redical will shrink 2 times faster. Also if your sneaking up on someone in close combat either sprint to get there fast or crouch so your not seen on the radar
Oh and another thing, RELOAD! You engaged a guy with only 1 bullet in the mag, not smart. I'm guessing it's because you have a COD background, but in halo you should reload after every fight.

Remember, Headshots DON'T MATTER unless their SHIELDS ARE DOWN.
Go for body shots until the shields pop, then wait for the bloom to go down and then go for the headshot.
Also, if you crouch, the DMR doesn't bloom quite as much.
And reload whenever possible, even if you've only shot one bullet.

dude you walked over a sniper, shotgun, and 2 -3 times a plasma launcher dont always look at were your aiming look at the top right hand corner to just in case of good weapons. Also you need to shoot earlier like here 2:47 plus here are all the gun walk overs 2:28 here 2:08 and here 5:42

you need to reload more. for example you KNOW that the DMR takes 5 shots to kill a guy. you never wanna go into a firefight while reloading. after a kill if no one is near you just reload. and want a good dmr. download a map called OCTAGON and 1v1 on it in a custom game

When it was you and another player running towards each other you wouldn't start shooting them until you were very close, if you want to win more often in that situation you should start firing much earlier so you get damage dealt to them before they deal it to you...

You need to work on pacing yourself withthe DMR, right now you're spamming it. That works well when your target is at close to mid range and accuracy isn't as important, but not at longer ranges. Also, crouching while using active camo makes you less visible.

Ken you are getting better but 2 things to remember are: 1 slow down you DMR shots, they become more accurate then.
2 reload more, after every gun fight you should probably reload.

Ken you need to reload your gun more after fights, you have had several times in the video where you only had like 4 rounds left on your DRM and you start a fight reloading your gun, gets your health down alot more than it should be. Also slow your shots down, the longer you take between shots, the more accurate your shots are. When you spam, the spread is huge and very little shots hit. You might also want to try a different class, maybe decoy would work best for you?!?

Hey dopey, you could get a Dazzle which is £60 or you could get a HD PVR which is £150 or you could just use the theatre mode Bungie incorporated which records all your games for absolutely free. So if you want people to be able to see your gameplay and commentate over it, the dazzle or pvr is the best choice, especially since there are other games besides halo in the world.

Jen, you are getting a lot better, and so that is good. You just need to watch your bullets in your clip, you should have reloaded many times in this game and all times you died because you didn't do so. Also, octagon is good if you just want to improve your shot.

Hey Ken. Looks like you are improving at this game :) However, I would suggest watching Hutch's Engineering Win for Halo, as he covers a lot of the important techniques required. Also, run a search for "Octagon" in the file browser and download it, then play a game of Slayer DMR's with somebody. It'll really improve your accuracy with that gun. Some good tips. I always find sticky grenades are much better, try looking for them. Second, SWAT is all about headshots. Play that and your accuracy will become better. Third, even though your doing good, you most of the time always take there sheilds out with your gun. Use grenades then its like 2 shots to kill!

@chadLOL3 Swat may increase your accuracy with 1 headshot shot, but it doesnt help you form a strafe or a decent all around shot. Swat is a terrible representation of actual gameplay, it supports campy gameplay and no teamwork. I honestly think the same of team snipers although it's more skill based.
Just keep playing team dmrs and slayer pro and stuff.

Try to shoot a little slower for better acuratie, but i have heared soms pro's say they rather spam the trigger as some times they get lucky, your chois.
Also stay at a small distance from your foe if you have a DMR or pistel and they have more of a short range weapon like a assalt rifle. You will have a advanted then.

i know everyone is saying this already but when at a distance,lets say 20 feet away or so give it a 1 sec cooldown on dmr and any closer than that spam the trigger. and something i see alot is your not picking up any weapons, always grab the power weapons, i.e the shotgun rockit launcher sniper rifle, even if you dont use make sure no one else uses it.

You seem to pick this up better than MW2. Just please don't take so long making the same mistakes over and over again. Control your shots with the DMR and play more aggressive. Go towards your enemies rather than just keeping your distance. It's just a game, you wont get hurt. And more movie nights. I don't care what video game, Halo or MW2 or anything else. I'm sure many of your fans will appreciate it.

If you are using Active Camo a good hint is to change your crouch settings from hold(default) to toggle which means you don't have to hold the stick down to keep crouching, I think its in the controller settings. Then when you activate the camo go into a crouch cause you automatically can't move fast enough to disrupt the active camo. That and alao when you get to a high spot on the map stay up there and use the elevation advantage to see guys earlier.

Ok here are some tips thAt might help you out 1: reaload your guns, 2: slow down your shooting with the DMR, if you shoot as fast as you can you lose accuracy, 3: learn how to place nades, nades are one of the best ways to drain sheilds. Hope this helps.

Adding to that other comment, I see you walking around with half a clip, and you come up to somebody, shoot them, run out and have to reload, and while you are reloading they are shooting you or beating you down.
Start off with a grenade. If someone is running toward you, throw a grenade to injure them, and you can finish them off with less bullets.
The last thing is to strafe. You walk straight at someone shooting them, and they can just headshot you. Instead, jump around or move toward them.

I'm pretty bad at this game, but I know a few tips and tricks that can help me.
First, use an armor ability that is useful. I'm watching your gameplays and I see that you aren't really a camper (Good Job!), and you move around a lot. Active camo doesn't work very well unless you are standing still. Use sprint or jetpack to get around, or armor lock for protection.
Another thing, RELOAD! I play halo and CoD, and after every person I face, or kill, i reload unless I'm in the middle of a fight.

I'm no mlg pro but i've played every halo game to date and i've noticed a few things in your play...
First with the DMR, the first few shots you can spam quickly but then slow down and let the reticule reset for the accurate head shot. Especially when you're far away.
Also try not to run directly towards anyone. Always try to strafe side to side and even jump. Never give them an easy target to headshot.
Try to begin fights with a nade or 2. Nades are never a waste. Toss em like candy.

I'm not a big Halo player, but one thing I noticed was that there was a lot of times where you should have reloaded when u had time to reload. Halo is a game where it takes more than 2-3 shots to kill someone so you need to have a decent amount of bullets in your clip so you can get the kill. If you watch again there were quite a few times where you had 1-4 shots left and ran around without reloading. just something to think about.

Glad to see you are using more than just the AR. For long range shots with the DMR you have to slow down or you won't hit your target for shit. If you would like to get in some practice download a map variant called "The Gym" it helps you practice with grenades, DMR, sniper, standing targets, moving targets, etc. Hope this helps.

Hey I'm am really good at this game if you want more tips tell me but here are some. If you are sniping someone down with any weapon crouch, this is because if u crouch your redical will shrink 2 times faster. Also if your sneaking up on someone in close combat either sprint to get there fast or crouch so your not seen on the radar

Oh and another thing, RELOAD! You engaged a guy with only 1 bullet in the mag, not smart. I'm guessing it's because you have a COD background, but in halo you should reload after every fight.
