My name is Angelo Fragapane. When I was a kid, Perry Como cut my hair in my uncle Steve Fragapane's barbershop.

I am thimking of buying my old home at 135 Adams Ave and going back to Canonsburg after 63 years.

Before the big parade, Canonsburg is having a chair parade on July 3rd so decorate them chairs!

This video is a REAL TREAT for me! I too grew up in Canonsburg. Went to graduated from highschool there in 1995. Then in 1999 I moved out to Arizona, where I currently live. It's strange in some ways, after living way out West,..to see my home town again on this video. goosebumps for sure! I miss it though. Lots of great memories,...and the Summers in southwest PA are beautiful,..so green! Thanks for this video!

Looks like a 1 day MartiGras...! Man You should try and get a video of the display set up for Cannonsburg this year if you have time. I know thats a busy time for you though. Mom and pop operations are the best.

It is one of my dreams to work this fireworks display since I grew up in this town. I would be happy to just to be a helper/assistant. The company that does this fireworks display on July 4th is called Starfire, he has done this display for years. I met him once his name is Vince. Great guy. I would imagine he is still doing the display each year.

I would like to get more bands to be in the parade, but high gas prices are a problem. But Canonsburg really does have a great celebration!

I am from thi area too...my dad is in charge of getting the bands and floats for this parade.
